ayahuasca was a bust
swim tried ayahuasca for the first time tonight (new years eve) as this is swim's favorite night of the year and it always means alot to swim. dmt has also meant alot to swim as he has been preparing himself for his first dmt experience where he wasn't disconnected by sleep and exaustion. swim has alot of psychological problems and began to believe that dissolving his ego would show him who he really was, and the fear and loathing could dissapear. dmt was the key, but dmt melted under the putrid promise that was the sacred ayahuasca.
swim procured the ingrediants from an online vendor that has always had great product. swim brought 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts bottled water to a simmer on swim's kitchen stove. swim added 40 grams of b. caapi and 35 grams of p. viridis (both chopped finely). swim then mixed the solution and with continuity stirred it every five minutes for two hours, also adding more solution to keep the content aqueous. after 2 hours swim filtered and boiled the remaining plant material at a low heat for an hour and a half when he filtered the solution again, discarding the filtrate, and combined the two mixtures. swim did not reduce the combination over a flame, but decided he would drink it in it's entirety.
swim froze it for a day, let it thaw in the absence of sunlight, and at 5:45 new years eve drank the unforgiving sustenance in what swim can only describe as worse than san pedro. swim waited in fea and desperation for the effects to come on. after 20 minutes and the slow dispersion of nausea swim waited longer, and after an hour and a half swim knew nothing was going to happen. swim needs this, please.... what did swim do wrong? should swim consult a shaman in his state despite the legal dilemma of giving a trustworthy recipe? swim hads been suicidal and tonight he felt alive waiting for the aya to kick in, swim needs a revelation. please help

swim is willing to give ayahuasca one more chance. swim has the oppertunity to buy a pound of fresh p. viridis leaves right now (don't know if dried peruvian leaves were the reason it didn't work), but swim definitely feels the effects of the maoi.
