carrying Ecstasy on a domestic flight
Hi guys, before I begin I want to make it abundantly clear I am not planning on carrying E or any illegal substances through an airport.
Having said that, let us begin. I have a friend who will be traveling through LGA to see his girlfriend. My friend would like to carry 10 pills with him; I have tried to dissuade him but he is intent. Now if he must do it, what would be the best way? Can an ex-ray machine spot pills, say in a candy bag? I've suggested mailing the pills as I think that is less risky, what do you guys think? If caught what is my friend facing? |

Re: carrying E on a domestic flight
You're right to dissuade him. He shouldn't do it.
No one here is going to give any advice on how to perform an illegal act like smuggling MDMA. About the only bit we can help with is the potential consequences if he gets caught. So, if anyone has any idea of what the likely sentence would be for possession of 10 Ecstacy pills (presumably MDMA) in the New Jersey area (I'm presuming LGA = LaGuardia), please add to this thread. But no smuggling instructions - thanks. |

Yes LGA is Laguardia, which is in NY not NJ.

Re: carrying E on a domestic flight
The friend should freshen up on sentencing guidelines and leave at least one pill behind, so that it can't become possession with intent ...

Re: carrying E on a domestic flight
Supposedly, and don't quote me in court in that of course, 10 pills is the level where simple possession becomes possession with intent. I don't know whether it's true, but it may very well be.

Re: carrying E on a domestic flight
swims granmothers 2nd son, used to wrap watever in cling film, put that in a bit of a plastic bag, twist around and melt the plast, to be extra careful, they did it a couple of times,,,,,,,,,obviously times have changed, xray machines and all that.......theyd drink milk before and as soon as they got on the plane, they'd sick it up in a bag in the toilet and hold it on the flight.....as they landed again, drunk milk and swallow, and puked it up outside the airport

Re: carrying E on a domestic flight
is that really necessary?? i mean, they don't x-ray people at the airport, only your stuff and then you walk through a metal detector. so if it was hidden on your person, you should be ok, right?

Re: carrying Ecstasy on a domestic flight
but on a domestic flight? no customs; shouldn't be a big deal right? at worst you're selected for a random search (chance of that is slim) but even if they pat you down they wont get too close to your nether regions will they?

Re: carrying Ecstasy on a domestic flight
getting cancer is slim, but swim bets u that u know people that have died from it,,,,,,,swims given u advice, its upto swiy to ignore it............my bet u will look well shifty, if there's dogs they dont just pick up on smells, they sense fear, people that work in airports are highly trained especially in the age of terror,,,,swim takes valium wen he goes to festivals where they have sniffer dogs. so swim dont have the fear
personally swim would never cross a border or fly in a plane with drugs,,,,,,,,,,,i just hope u are prepared to go to jail if it fucks up,your mother will love u 4 it,,but then your not doin it anyway. goodluck with it |
