Taking E pills onto a plane... is this stupid?

My friend mentioned bringing a few pills (I'm pretty sure no more than 4) with her when she flies from one US state to another next week. I'm not so sure this is a good idea, especially if they're not all the same color, but she believes the airport won't detect a little baggie of pills in her pocket. What do you guys think?
