Oxycodone vs. Oxycontin
Is there a chemical difference between oxycodone in percocets and the oxycodone in oxycontin? SWIM has taken 20mg of percocet and 20mg of oxycontin ( time released scratched off) and both felt totally different. with the percocet SWIM felt really high..with the oxycontin SWIM just felt dazed/tired. any ideas?

Re: Oxycodone vs. Oxycontin
as far as this swim knows... there isnt except for the time release part... same chemical just different absorption... basically the time release is the only difference...
swim says remember that trips can be different even if quantity is the same... this is for a thousands reasons... just flow with it dont try to control it |

Re: Oxycodone vs. Oxycontin
Oxycodone is the opiate in both Oxycodone and Oxycontin pills. Oxycontin is just oxycodone with a time release mechanism. Oxycodone pills are normally combined with acetaminophen, aspirin, or ibuprofen. The reason to feeling higher on the Oxycodone pills might be due to that these pills are instant release thus releasing all the oxycodone at one time. Oxycontin pills are time released and unless someone breaks the time release mechanism, the Oxycodone will be dispersed over an amount of time rather than all at once
