Opinions - Safety in the US for RC delivery

Swim has a few questions about the safety of RCs legally in the USA. Swim knows about the analouge act, how safe is swim for ordering from a good source(i know its a reliable one)? If swims package is found is it more likely they just seize it and tell swim he is not getting it unless swim wants to prove he needs it for other reasons. Or is there a realistic chance swim could get actual charges for doing this? Are there certain RCs less likely to draw attention? Swim is perferring to try 2C-I or Methylone. Are these just as safe as others to order or would swim have better luck ordering a different RC. Thanks in advance guys.

SWIM wishes he could help, but he is in the same boat. Any newer info on this would be greatly appreciated.

It seems the running consensus is that the customs person will send a letter stating said package has been seized and you're more than welcome to come pick it up at customs if nothing illegal is in it. (the infamous love letter). I don't recall any reports of people facing prosecution for small amounts being seized.

RC deliveries will occasionally be stopped by customs, if shipped via express courier by a well known vendor... customs will then contact the sender to inquire what is inside the package. Most RC suppliers will site there are legal chemicals in the package with proper documentation for research purposes.

Most of the time, if sent via regular post much like a normal letter it will have no problem getting there.

But, as with all things in the RC market, it is of the persons responsibility to fully understand the possible legal ramifications of what they are doing and take an objective look at how it can be illegal.

SWIM thinks that's really what it comes down to. He has been told numerous times that personal amounts, a few grams or less should be fine in discrete and normal packaging with proper documentation if opened is fine.
