Combinations - Dextromethrorphan and Phenylephrine in vicks 44

SWIM has a 6 oz bottle of Vicks 44 with dextromethorphan and phenylephrine as the only active ingredients in it. SWIM was wondering if he took this if it would get him messed up.

Please do not use this. If SWIY is intent on using Dextromethorphan, find a product with ONLY DXM as an active ingredient (Robotussin Gel-Caps, Zicam Spray, etc).

Phenylephrine could be dangerous in higher doses, as it causes an increase in blood pressure, nausea and could lower the seizure threshold.

take it slow, swims first time he took 400mgs of robo dxm only syrup and had full blown hallucinactions he couldn't distinguish from unconscious dreams. It was a whole mess of a situation. Plus, anything with a second ingredient isn't a good idea, because one who drinks more syrup than the medical dose is taking equally more of the second ingredient (which is sometimes specifically used to prevent abuse...)
