Injecting - Poor mans speedball

Please dont slate SWIM if this has been covered before but I searched and found nothing of relevance.

Have any of you SWIYS ever injected a speedball, but instead of using cocaine, using amphetamine base (this is UK specific by the way as SWIM dont think the USA gets the same type of speed as us) If any of you SWIYS have, what was it like? comparable at all to areal speedball?

SWIM knows a lot of people would probably advise against shooting speed as it is notoriously impure but SWIM has always had access to exceptionally high quality base and the thought of this 'poor mans speedball' has been really growing on him of late.

swims had speedballs with base speed & thinks its very similar to a real speedball,but then she thinks charlie is way over rated anyway.She would also agree with Ak911dog & advise against shooting it up.Not only because its dangerous(not just talking impurities here-its also much worse for the heart when its injected)but also because when injected the potential for addiction is so much greater.Same with any drug.Swim wishes she`d stuck to snorting & eating it.She also thinks swiy is very lucky to have access to base as swim & her friends havent seen any for maybe 5 years.

Well off the bat, I'm going to highly discourage it.. as a speedball is a notoriously lethal combo.

However, the desired effect should be obtained, because amphetamines are somewhat similar to cocaine in effect. I personally refer to any combination of hard stimulant and hard depressant as a speedball.
The amphetamine/heroin combination however, may be more deadly than if it were done with cocaine. The danger in speedballing is the risk of heart failure. Two very potent substances are present in the body: one (cocaine) is sending signals to increase the heart rate, while the other (heroin) is sending signals to decrease it. The effect is a temporarily controlled heart rate, in which it reaches a middle pace.

Potential danger occurs when one starts to wear off. Cocaine has an extremely short duration, making heroin the only substance in the body after about 10-15 minutes. The sudden absence of the stimulant can cause the signals to become mixed, resulting in a dangerously abnormal heart beat (sometimes causing death).

Amphetamines have an extremely long duration opposed to cocaine. My concern is that the heroin will wear off first, causing the heart rate to skyrocket, most likely resulting in a heart attack.

This is just theory based on fact, but the risk may not be worth it. I hope SWIY gives it serious consideration.

Ah the old speed speedball,swim a good few years ago used this as his favorite drug combo.
He had used speed(only good quality)shooting up for about 3 years.
As long as you know what you are doing,meaning keeping everything clean and safe,then the only bad thing about shooting up is as mentioned~ it becomes a lot more addictive.As you start looking for the rush as well as the hit.
Now when swim came across some good quality heroin,he also started to think of speedballing.
The sensation was amazing,now let me say swims first ride of this bike was great but used high quality of both substances,later when the heroin quality went down only the speed was really felt.
Whilst it took about 12 months of his life and some of the best hits/rushes came from this combo(not a big fan of the coke/heroin combo).
Looking back he put a big strain on his body,and would tend to side with the dont try it posse.
Once you try it you might end up 12 months down the line saying "damn were did that year go" a very very addictive combo.

SWIM has heard of people shooting Tunial and Ritalin, and he has heard that it is great but one becomes completly incoherant. Swim only knows people who do snowballs, and dont enjoy speedballs.

swims mates used to pin speed, disolves quite well in water. obviously i have no idea how much cuz swim was only a teenager and didnt really want to know about that shit

the problem swim thinks, is you'd need to inject more gear as the injected gear wears off, cuz speed lasts longer,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,iswim never injected speed, so maybe it dont last that long, good uk bass used to last (orally)4-8hours. swims seen the state of rubber gloves that were used in the process of making it, and they were burnt to fuk, swim wud advice against it, but sometimes u just got to do what u got to do,,,,,brave new world
