Re: brown hugh

Couldn't say what strain, as that would be impossible even with a pic 2 determine beyond a shadow of a doubt. & dryness has nothing to do with being grown outdoor & everything to do with the curing process.

The piny smell sounds indicitive of a Sativa strain, although those tend to be lighter colors rather than brownish (ussually indica), so SWIM is guessing it is a Sativa/Indica hybrid.

Are there any visible crystals? is it sticky to the feel?

It's not sticky at all. there are crystals but nothing out of the regular for kb. the thing about the dryness is that every time siwm would smoke outdoor it was dry and indoor usualy is very moist.

Re: brown hugh

The piney smell is usually indicative of terpene/terpenoid development in strains which have a lineage in the Sativa and Kafiristanica families. Some prime examples of such strains which carry this scent are Trainwreck, Snowcap, and Jack Herrer. The Diesel strains (Kafiristanicas) often carry this scent, too, and can be further identified by they compact, small nuggets.

As Herbal Healer pointed out, the dryness of a flower has nothing to do with the growing conditions, but is rather dependent on the drying and curing conditions of the flower, which does not denote indoor or outdoor growing.

Moreover however, it is impossible for anyone on this forum to determine the exact lineage of a strain of cannabis, especially with such a sparse description. Nothing that can be said here will be any better than a shot in the dark.
