Oral use - opium gel caps

Swim is going to buy a good amount of Papaver Somniferum dried popy pods
if swim made tea, boiled down (not going to hot) then evaporated to get the black gummy stuff ( which apparently useless for smoking) and put into gel caps, then ingested, would this work?
how much material would swim expect off of 5 large pods?
swim herd of someone extracting 15 dried pods and getting a marble sized ball of gum, but that was a more in-depth extraction rather than just tea, but still a very similar technique.
swim needs stealthy opium. haha
