Behavioral, not Physical

Take this anti-nicotine groups.
I was recently speaking with my uncle about drugs and such, he is a psychologist and co-founder of a private practice. We entered upon addiction and he told me about a study that he had been apart of into the addiction of nicotin. Nicotine is not actually all that addicting physically, so for those of you that are trying to kick it please do not spend your money on all those nicotine gums and patches that are made by the tobacco companies....

I wish I could give you all the details but basically nicotine withdrawal only last a week, of course the craving will be there forever as with any addiction, and for that week basically you just become really irritable and insomnic for a week. This I feel is easy to deal with unless you're a school teacher or someone else that always needs to be kind, although I do not have experience with nicotine withdrawal but i do have experience with anxiety and depression so have had these symptoms for months at a time... The biggest problem is that it's habit forming, where after you eat you smoke, after sex you smoke, when you wake up you smoke, when you go on break to talk with friends you smoke, it leaves you with a big hole of what to do with yourself. I do not know what to suggest to fill this, whether it be wank off or eat some sunflower seeds, but I would simply like to say that if you can stand being uncomfortable and a dick for about a week and find something else to do in between activities you will be more or less home free, with only cravings itching at you whenever you smell smoke or ect.

Please do not take this as a anti-smoking post, I do not mean to insult anyone's life style, I just wanted to let the ones that wish to stop tell them it's not as difficult as everyone will tell you.

BigB-Baby added 1 Minutes and 27 Seconds later...

Sorry if some one with the power to do it please change the title to Nicotine Addiction, Behavioral, more than Physical

Sorry i did not make it more descriptive from the beggining
