Interesting drug-related conundrum

At the beginning of A Clockwork Orange Alex says, "The Korova milk bar sold milk plus drencrom, synthemesc or vellocet, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence."


Now, 'synthemesc' probably means 'synthetic mescaline', 'drencrom' sounds like it's adrenochrome, but the question is, what the hell could 'vellocet' refer to?

does anyone know something about blutz, they try to sell it as a room-oderiser..

Ah..! I never found that out although I saw2 the movie several times
& I was wondering about the names. Nice that you pointed it out



vellocet sounds a bit similar to "well acid" but...I don't know,
English is not my motherlanguage (nor a language that I speak very good)
