Overdose - Cocaine Overdose - Help, Panicking

Swim just snorted 1 big line and 1 small line of very very high quality cocaine, swim is gurning (taking heavy breaths every 10 seconds) and swims arms and hands are partially numb (feels like pins and needles), how does swim know when to stop, and when he is od'ing. It doesn't feel unpleasent, swim just does not want to be have so much that swim od's without realising it and ends up with a heart attack, swim has his girlfriend present.Swim still has 8 lines left. Quck replies please, swim is paniciking here.

it sounds like SWIY is experiencing heavy dosing of cocaine, it's simple just chill for 40 minutes to an hour and see where SWIYou feel then.

SWIF wouldnt continue to dose when getting numbness in limbs, could indicate quite alot of vasocontriction. Be weary getting high isnt worth a heart attack, take it easy.

THe anxiety will be linked to the heavy dosing of cocaine, as it induces paranoid feelings. Try to relax and let it pass.

Thanks for your reply, it's not exactly numbness it's pins and needles exactly in swims palms, and a heavy breath every 10 seconds or so with a swallow. When swim took the big line, after 20 mins he feft like this, then he took a small line and felt much much better, but after 10 mins again felt like this. Any further advice for swim, should he do another line, swims lower arm has just started aching as he is typing this, is this because of the blood trying to reach the fingers but being restriced? What should swim do?

Isn't pins and needles in the hands a symptom that appears before a heart attack in patients with heart disease? I'm pretty sure I have read that somewhere - I would take it very easy and follow Fantasian's good advice.

EDIT: Just looked it up, pins and needles is a symptom that appears before a heart attack but it is only in the left arm/hand the majority of the time.

Swing was a little drunk on champagne before he started sniffing, could this affect anything? Swim stood up and felt like he was very light, similar to consuming a lot of pills and walking around, swim knows this definitely is not crushed up pills though. Swim will keep everyone updated throughout the night.

Ok update time, swim did 2 small lines and felt really really good, then swim felt the same numbness in hands, and slight pain in his left arm, which quickly went away, maybe it is the comedown that is causing this? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hope SWIY got through it alright, pins and needles often result from hyperventilation from the anxiety you seemed to express, but as other have said above it could be the result of a MI and damage to cardiac tissue.

If at any point one is worried, the clear thing that makes the most sense is to stop....

To me it sounds like SWIY was on the crash.

Ever since SWIM was hospitalized for ecstasy OD, he's had a panic attack on the crash from hard stimulants. SWIM would feel tingling in the fingers and toes, breathing would become heavy and erratic, and heartbeat felt overly intense.

My suggestion is that SWIY tries to relax, as there's no overdose here. Overdose of cocaine directly results in some form of cardiovascular failure (usually heart attack or stroke); cocaine overdose is really not that common, unless it's used in conjunction with other drugs.

If SWIY is having trouble, get a brown paper bag and breathe deeply into it. For whatever reason (I have no fucking idea) it really does calm nerves and help regulate breathing.

Hyperventilation results in low carbon dioxide levels and ultra high oxygen levels leading to a misbalance of pH in the blood stream. THe person blood becomes very alkaline because of the acidic nature of Co2. This leads to a tingling in the fingers and other unpleasant sensations. Breathing into a paper bag causes the person to breath a lower percentage of oxygen because the air in the bag has already been breathed therefore leading to a higher level of carbon dioxide in an attempt to return the balance back to normal.
