Blood (not drug) test

SWIM takes adderall a couple times a week and gets regular blood tests for her hypothyroidism. Next week SWIM is going to a doctor who may or may not do a more comprehensive blood test than prior docs - any chance that this blood test would actually show amphetamines? SWIM thinks that that type of test is more expensive, but correct me if SWIM is wrong. Thanks!

Re: Blood (not drug) test

Probably not unless testing for drugs specifically. Amphetamines are usually undetectable in urine for the average person between 1-4 days after use (longer for methamphetamine) and for a blood test your looking at the lower end of that window.

Re: Blood (not drug) test

Your doctor can't secretly order tests and your phlebotomist will also tell you what was ordered.

Re: Blood (not drug) test

this reminds me of a dumbass I know....

He was getting a blood test done, and put bleach in the piss. Docs obviously knew, and confronted that the piss was contaminated with bleach, and the kid had to confess that he was trying to hide drug use. Turns out, drugs aren't even tested. One of the dumbest kids I know. He's that guy who gets caught in the dumbest ways, for EVERYTHING.
