Dose - Never tried an opiate

SWIM recently bought 4 capsules which have "M - ESLON" printed on them and 30 on the other side. He was told that this was morphine. SWIM would like to know if this is really morphine and if 30mg is an appropriate dose for someone who has never done an opiate. In the capsules, there are small, white, pebble-looking things which go up about halfway on the caps.

First, swim has tried many opiates, but never specifically morphine, so he won't even begin to try giving out dosing info.
He's certain there's many folks here who can give great information on the subject, though.

Second, after a quick google search, those certainly are 30mg morphine pills, though in sustained-release form.

Here's some more info from another site:

"M-ESLON" and "30" in black, opaque pink cap and transparent natural body contains: morphine sulfate 30 mg in the form of extended release microgranules. Nonmedicinal ingredients: dibutyl sebacate, ethylcellulose, FD&C Red No. 3, gelatin, polyethylene glycol, starch, sucrose, talc and titanium dioxide. Tartrazine-free.

If anything is wrong here, please correct swim!

if they are extended release your gonna want to bypass that not sure how to do that with the little microgranules though

From the sound of it SWIY has aquired legit Morphine unless the beads inside were swapped for something else (which SWIM doubts).Remember START OFF SLOW.Being that SWIY has never taken an opie before what would be SWIY's rout of administration? Oraly will not give the same effects as snorting,banging or rectaly.

Another thing to concider is if SWIY might have a "bad" reaction to Morphine.

swim was just going to crush them wigth a card or some shit and take it with grapefruit juice. swim was only planning on taking one 30mg cap. swims main concern is whether this is too much; its hard to get dosage info on morphine but i think it will be fine.

So SWIM is guessing that the ROA is oraly.30 mg is "usually" a starting dose prescribed for "M"and oraly the behaviorability isn't "THAT" strong so SWIY should be fine.Being that SWIY has never taken an opiate if SWIY is still worried then don't take it all at 1 shot do it in 1/2 hr. intervals.

Keep in mind too that because this is an extended release pill, when you take it, even if you crush the pill, it still wont bypass the was maxtrix. Whats going to happen is the pill will release about i think 30% of the morphine instantly, and then the rest over a period of 12 hours, now maybe that will increase slightly because of the crushing but not by much, i know this for a fact. Every month i get 100 instant release 10mg morphine sulphate pills and 100 60mg morphine m-eslons (extended release) Now with the Instant release i can take 12 10mg pills so 120mg and because its instant it feels 100x better then taking 120mg of the slow acting m-eslons i crush both types of pills into a find powder by the way. Now with the slow acting 60mg pills i can take 4 of those and it still wont feel as good as taking just 12 instant release pills, and its a big fucking waste, and i just realized a few weeks ago how much morphine i waste with those slow acting ones.

I really need to find a way to get rid of the wax in these pills they will last twice as long this way, any help would be great.

Oh yea my point was even if you take 30mg you will only get like 10mg instant release and the rest will slowly come out, so you dont need to worry about Over Dose, and taste 4 little balls, thats what they should look like tiny little beds, taste them its really bitter and it like covers your whole tounge, thats how you know theyre real. sorry for the rant lol im stoned on 240mg morphine

SWIM would say that you will be okay with one pill. He would just start off with one though if SWIY is an opiate naive person. His first use of morphine was with 45mg of ER, but he had somewhat of an opiate tolerance and it didn't do what he wanted. The next time 60 mg did the trick.
