Red face The reintroduction of adderall!

So I have been having a horrible first few years in college..
Its sort of gotten bad, to the point where nothing is even interesting anymore!

I took adderall for like 3 years in highschool and I graduated with flying colors but my social life lacked because of one of the sideaffectsthat numbs your emotions.
For this reason I stopped using and it was the biggest mistake in my life I think. I am now going back to collage for my first degree and I intend on taking full advantage of adderall.

Now a small question for a helpless noob, but I just took 40mg for the first time in about 2 years, so I could do a bunch of work tonight, and I have to work early tomorrow so I plan on taking my old dosage before work.

I feel amazing, way different then I used to. I feel like its doing only good things to me. I have extreme anxiety and trust issues and they are just melting away. I know it might of been a lot to get back on it though, so I was wondering if this was okay? I feel fine, energized, ready to work, and no stress and anxiety are present inside. I feel like I can take on school again! I just don't want to overdue it but I had no idea adderall could be used for so much back then, and its opening up a world of possibilities.

This is a refreshing feeling as I was only going down a downward spiral since I graduated a few years ago and I think this is what I needed.
I'm trying to keep a level head about it, its not going to solve all my problems but I can feel them leading to the answers I need.

I also have one more question, a very important one.
Well, two!
One is, will the feeling of numbing emotions return or was that only because of my state of mind back in high school. It feels a lot different now then it ever did and all I wanna do is talk to people which wasn't the case before!
Also, I hear a lot of sexual problems with adderall. I can already go for hours without climaxing without it and I don't want the adderall to further that effect as I outlast everyone I'm with which becomes troublesome and embarrassing. ;

Point out all the flaws in my wall of text as this is the first time I've posted here and I might of been a little hyped up when I read through the words to retain info!!
THANKS FOR THE HELP!

Re: The reintroduction of adderall!

welcome to the boards.

when posting, you talk out SWIM (someone who is not you)

I'll lead by example...

swim thinks that the "numbing of emotions" is rare side effects is takikin adderall recreationally. he might regard that to your high school years.

swim also advises agaisn't 40mg as this is a very high dose..therapeutic wise.

if swiy (someone who is not you) wants a "level head" about this experiment from a doctor 'guideline'....use the lowest dose that gives effects of the drug.

stop for 3 days...then take a 5mg...if that's not enough...try a 10mg the next day. swim doubts swiy won't feel anything off a 10.

again, welcome. take a look at the forum rules also, veryvery helpful.

Re: The reintroduction of adderall!

Swim is alot like Swiy with Adderal. Swim also took Adderal when younger and had the exact same "emotion numbing" effects. Swim often describes adderal as "replacing creativity with productivity". Swim has recentely been reintroduced to Adderal with Swim's freshmen year of college and has yet to notice the emotion numbing effects from earlier.

The explanation being Swim and Swiy have both matured and Adderal now effects us differently AKA puberty.

Also take in account, Swim stopped taking adderal over this Christmas break, and have noticed a slight "come down". Ofcourse Swim was taking 70+ mg a day for two months straight

The come down that Swim noticed was not severe and the only symptoms being Fatigue and increased apetite.

So Swiy has nothing to worry about that, afterall Fatigue/increased appetite is perfect for Swims christmas holiday
