Health - George Jung and the Blow movie...health question

im sure many of you have seen blow with johnny depp. its based on a true story as everyone knows. great movie, but one thing makes me laugh everytime. the part where hes in the hospital and he says he once killed 10 grams in 10 mintues. come on bud, now i know he was a big time dealer, and money didnt mean shit, and he dealt with pablo escobar. but 10 grams in 10 minutes? thats a little less than 3 balls in ten minutes. now i dont know about you guys, but i can smash a lot of coke, but 10 g's in 10 minutes? you gotta be a fuckin elephant to do that much, his fuckin heart would explode, lol. any thoughts on that?

well if your dealin with that much cocaine your obviosly doin alot, now 10gs in 10 minutes would kill ya for sure, but i mean the guy obviously would have been sketched off his face dealin with that kind of business, so naturaly hed be able to trick himself into believing whatever he wants, and im sure his compandres would be equally as sketched, so theyd easily be able to convince themselves of doing anything.

Well he did have a heart attack in the movie, but still I
agree with the rest of you, it must have been an
exaggeration.

last week I smoked 18 grams of cocaine, first I had 8 gram's, three days later it was up and that was a good reason to buy some more because when you use 8 gram's on three days, you actually think about it all the time and don't wanna do other things again. and at the end of the week I buyed 18 grams and a spent a lot of money on it so that was a good reason to stop for a few weeks

if you look at the extra scenes on the dvd theres this well funny bit where he puts about 5 grams in a glass of whisky and downs it. in the commentry they say that that did happen, but snorting 10 grams would be a bit heavy.

It also says right before he goes into the 10 grams in 10 mins that the
average person can snort like a gram to a gram and a half in a day
before reaching toxic levels...well i dont know about you guys but ive
done more than that in a couple hours....

Not always, some coke dealers don't do coke. you do coke you get all
tweaked out fiended out and sniff up all your supply and bam no money
