Effects - Generic Adderall - Noob Question

Hey swim was recommended to take adderall because he has a big paper due tomorrow at 3pm.

He took a 20mg half an hour ago but doesn't feel affects. He is 165 lbs 5'11 athletic, etc. The bottle reads Amphetamine Salts.

Should he take more? How will he know if it is working. Thanks a lot and feel free to correct me for improper posting because I am obviously new to this.

You'll feel the effects around 45 minutes after dosing, assuming you're taking it orally. You may feel excited, content, motivated, and have the desire to be extremely productive. Physically, you'll likely feel somewhat elevated heart rate and may feel a 'tingling,' like a slight body high, especially on the top of your head.

20 mg is a very safe dose, and is a good baseline for first timers. If for some reason you don't feel the effects after t+1hr, you can safely take another 10-20mg without likely risk to your health (assuming you've done your research on the substance in the first place, know of any family/personal history issues that might arise, etc.). 40mg is a high, but not dangerous dose.

Yes, that's why included in that post was the point about investigating SWIY's family history and personal medical records, for an indication as to potential dangers from high doses. SWIM's body makeup closely resembles the one described in the first post of this thread, and is safely enjoying the motivation for studying and reading that 30mg generic aphetamine salts provides ) SWIM may also for the first time dose 40-50mg over an 8 hr period, depending on how SWIM feels as the night wears on p

Well here's how his night went

8:45 pm took 20mg Amph. Salts orally

10:30pm took 10mg Amph Salts Orally

11:30pm took 10mg Amph Salts Orally

3:15am took 20mg Adderall XR 20mg orally

Paper is 1/4 done. Hah.

So 60mg in a night. SWIM guess SWIM have some what of a tolerance, stinks because SWIM never did it before.

swim is 6'0" and 200 lbs. he takes 10mg XR in the a.m. (this alone speeds him) and then another 10-20 XR in the evening.

maybe because swiy obviously bought/obtained the "mixed amphetamine salts" from a friend they could have faked him out and put some other kind of pills in there?

if this is the case..swim would go by the pill & not the bottle for a reference. there's a website (or just any popular search engine) that can look up a pill due to its shape, color and marking. you should punch those 3 characteristics in and maybe even find a picture online also. always wanna be safe.

and swim doubts the actual adderall xr were duds, swim knows the kid too well and has seen others use and go back to kid,

however swim did get 75% of the paper done and has 4 hours till its due.

20mg is actually not really a high dose. It is well within the theraputic range. Especially if this person is taking it orally...

SWIM's friend takes 10mg and can speed all day (an he's even a small guy)

A girl who is swim takes 150mgs a day prescribed by her doctor and she barely feels a thing in the begining she felt productive but now she only feels tired is their a difference in generic compared to adderall?

SWIM remembers his first experience with adderall, at 30mg. SWIM felt like he went absolutely insane.... in a good way that is.

It takes about 40-60 minutes to set on when taken orally, so tell SWIY to be careful and not to take any more until at least an hour and a half after the initial dosage.

Swim is 165# and when she was first started on adderall swim was started on 40mg so if swiy ups their dose to 40mg should be fine I think they are safe to go upto 60mg at the most if it is their first time but tell them to becareful.
