Drug info - Adderall XR

So, SWIM has never taken Adderall before, and it's exam time and SWIM needs to study. SWIM bought 20mg XR and took one at 10:30 this morning. It's now 4:00 and SWIM hasn't felt anything. SWIM clearly doesn't have a tolerance, since has never taken it, so if anyone could offer advice that'd be great! SWIM doesn't want to eat and really wants to study!

First of all, learn how to use SWIM (someone who isn't me) as you are clearly in violation of the rules. Also, for someone that has never taken Adderall before, you should have no tolerance and should have felt 20mg XR. I know DF isn't a Pill ID site but just trying to help you out here, what did the capsule look like? My best bet is that someone ripped you off and sold you something else instead of Adderall

Oh oops, SWIM (clearly a newb). Yea, my first thoughts would have been that SWIM was ripped off, but swim is sure they're real, the capsules are orange and say "Adderall XR 20mg" on them, they came from swim's trusted friend who has adhd straight from the bottle, so you can imagine how confused swim is.

What color were the beads inside the capsule? If so, maybe you just have a natural high tolerance to amphetamines....Each person has a different body and a certain drug can effect certain people in different ways.

If SWIY doesn't want to eat so far into the day I'd say the effects are clearly present just not noticed.

^^I totally missed that part about not wanting to eat and wanting to study. With that knowledge, I would agree with Raverhippie and say that the effects are present and it is working, just not as strong as you anticipated it would be

Thank you so much for the advice. I would agree, but she hasn't had those effects, if so, only slightly; she wasn't very hungry today, which was nice, but she did still feel hungry, and felt no inclining to study. She (my hypothetical friend :P) may just have a high tolerance, if so, should she take the instant release? Or crush them? I think she just swallowed them orally. Essentially, she wants the desired effects of being extremely energetic, focused and a suppressed appetite. Thanks again!

well everyone has differnent responses to the drug, but swim takes 20mg daily and when he gives him to a friend they just have dry mouth, thirsy, happy, awake and excited. It helps you focus but can also freak you out. swim loves it thought!!!!!!!!!!
