Snorting - Generic Oxycontin 20mg "G 162"

Hey everybody, SWIM just bought 20ct. 20mg Controlled Release Oxycodone (Generic Oxycontin). He didnt know they were gonna be generic, but hell, it was a relitivly good deal, so he took 'em, and figured no big difference. Well he got home from work and started sucking on one, like he does with his brand name OC's (when he gets them) but he sucked for a full 5 minutes and it was still slimey, it never got to the "hard"/"gritty" pill part. So he took it out of his mouth and it was still slick and gooey to touch. He put it in a paper towel and starte rubbing it to dry it off, the paper towel basically glued onto the gelly pill coating and he had to peal it off.

SWIM then tried to crush it up, to see what happened, and it didnt crumble/shatter like a normal OC pill. IT kinda "squished" so it kept grinding into the table and it kind of broke up into a pile of strange wettish powdery stuff stuck together. So he tried to crush and dice and chop and mince as best he could, and it took about 15 minutes of tedious, meticulous work to get it into an acceptable snorting powder.

What is wrong with these generic bastards? Do they have some kind of anti-abuse mechanism? How can SWIM get around this? Is there a better was to pulverize them?

SWIM just told me that about 12 hours after he tried to snort his first G162 (he also did another half of one about 6 hours between), he's been getting these REALLY thick and gooey phlegm cough-ups...he's just been spitting them out into the toilet (and flushing) so far. He also did get the huge boogers which he just kept trying to moisen into absorption (by wetting his finger, and pushing the booger up against the inside of his nose)...but these arent dry boogers in the first place (like after a long night of cocaine), so he's not sure if this did anything, or was a futile action.

At this point, SWIM's thinking he might just have to eat these like normally directed, and then snort bumps of his [actual brand name] OC40's...

Any other advice, though, on how to get these things to be snortable, would be greatly appreciated by SWIM.

Does SWIY know about the crisping method used on the Teva OCs a lot? SWIY should check it out, it might work for SWIY. People also crisp to prepare for IV injection.
Here is the text from Drug and Booze Forum:

People have been wondering how to IV opiates, or how to potentiate their opiates, or whatever. One of the best and easiest ways to do this is called "crisping".

Crisping is when you heat the OC in a spoon very lightly. Crisping breaks the time release mechanism, and also makes it easier to snort, and burns off some unwanted fillers.

Now, you might be thinking "Won't this waste some of my OC?" The answer to this is simple. NO. OC has a very high temperature when it starts to be destroyed, so unless you don't basically light the shit on fire, you won't be wasting any.

The tools you will need: A spoon, an oxy (I used half an 80mg Teva), A lighter, a razor (or card, something to chop with), a tooter (straw, money, hallowed pen), and a brain. You don't need a cellphone, it was just in the picture for some reason.

Once you have your materials, it's time to start workin'! Crush your OC up fine enough to snort it. I'm not going to tell you how to crush it because if you don't know how to crush pills, you shouldn't be reading this. This is how fine I'm talking about:

After you have crushed it, place it into the spoon. You can use a card to pick it up, or just CAREFULLY scrape it off the table or whatever. You should now have something that looks like this:

Now, take your lighter and hold the flame underneath the spoon like shown here:

Hold the lighter under it and move it around to cover the bottom surface until you smell a sweet smell coming from the powder. Don't wait until it's turning brown, that means you've gone too far (but haven't messed it up yet). After you smell this, stir around the powder in the spoon (agitate it). Start heating the bottom again until you can smell that smell again. You will notice that the OC will start to clump up or be a little sticky, these are signs that you are doing the right thing. After lighting it twice, you should have something like in the first picture shown, and then the second picture is when someone who isn't me, was dumping it from the spoon onto the counter. Notice how it sticks to the spoon and most of it will stick. This tells us that we have successfully crisped the OC!

Now, dump the contents onto your surface, re-chop the powder to make it fine again (this should be fairly easy now) and then snort! This is the following product:

Now, from here you can snort it (my second favorite way aside from IV) or you can mix it in with water and drink the solution (will hit you in 10 minutes tops)

Snorting it is the better way IMO, just because taking OC orally (in any form other than percocet) is a waste of time and money and resources.

Crisping does not waste OC, unless you do it wrong. Follow my steps and you won't do it wrong.

Make sure you sterilize the spoon and the razor, cleanliness is next to godliness.

No one here talks about crisping or am I just search retarded?

SWIM has never heard of this, as a function to remove the time-release and filler content of the generic OC's. He just tried it with a half of one of his G162's. He followed the directions as best he could, but he didnt start smelling the sweet syrup smell until the edges/powedery parts started to turn brown. It says in the thing that if you see brown, you went too far, but not that you messed up. He tried with another half and again, no smell untill some brown. Maybe this is different from the Teva(which he has never seen/used/heard of before and Impax(maker of G162's)?

He did scrape off the spoon, dice some more, and snort. It was a much finer powder than before, and he doesnt have huge boogers. But he doesnt feel the effects any differently than if he snorted half a regular chopped OC40.

He says he might try this a few more times, and decide if he will make habit of it. He also greatly thanks you for this helpful method, and not that he doesnt doubt SWIY's source/knowledge, can anyone else verify the "no oxycodone loss" for sure. Because if there is any oxycodone loss, hed rather use the more tedious method of chopping for 20 minutes and having boogies...though those lougies sucked very bad...and were like globs of glue in his throat...

Edit: ALthough it doesnt cause boogers, SWIM did note that alot of the new "powder" doesnt see to stick or absorb, every 30 second or so, a little piece wil flal out of his nose, he tried to wet his fingers and run it along the inside walls of this nose, pressing the pebbles up there, but it dried out quickly again

Yea SWIM has never had experience with that brand. What a shitty problem, SWIM knows how you feel though. Hopefully you find a more successful way.
