Diphenhydramine in jail

Swim was doing some time in the county jail and they sold generic Diphenhydramine tablets on the commasary. People in swims tank were all over them using them as a sleep aid to kill time. Swim took only 150 mgs before sleeping and woke up to go to breakfast and almost passed out in line he was so dizzy. Swim also woke up with a nosebleed. Swim is wondering if Diphenhydramine can cause nosebleeds. Swims nasal passages were already dry from the air circulation and probably a little dehydrated from not drinking enough water. Any thoughts?
