Unhappy possible medical emergency?

This was cross-posted in the peyote forum. swim is cut and pasting it here fora possibly faster response...

OK. swim's not sure what is really going on right now, and not sure if this is the right place to post this...

sorry for bad grammar or anything but swim's really feeling bad.

yesterday swim parachuted about ten grams of poppy straw, done many times before, and had a bad reaction. He went into the bathroom and may not have thrown up but his stomach was hot as iron and very painful. This cleared after about ten minutes and he felt fine.

today he took a little more straw straight down early this morning and was fine. then at 3pm he decided to take some cactus, something he had never done before. he parachuted (!) about ten grams of peruvanius.

about two hours later he was outside a storefront with a friend and he vomited quite a bit. He thought this was to be expected, and everything looked "normal" in his vomit. he started to trip.

he tripped ok for about six hours but his stomach grew increasingly queasy and sensitive. after coming home he took a tums; that didn't help, so he took pepto. then he tried an aspirin for his bastard of a headache, really killer headache; bad mistake. then he had to go into the bathroom and vomit again. This time, there was blood in his vomit. He threw up a bunch of brown shit which he probably would not have identified as blood, then near the end of the reaction he vomited very painfully and there was a 2-3 tablespoons of fairly bright, red blood.

He felt a bit better but still extremely dizzy and had a horrible spike of a headache, a really bad headache. he went upstairs very disoriented and fell into a dazed sleep for about 3-4 hours.

Now he woke up about 12 hours after ingestion, still very weak, dizzy, stumbling, not clear-headed, etc. very nauseated. he is afraid if he tries to vomit he will see more blood so he has drank a lot of ice water (he was extremely dehydrated).

his dad is a nurse and swim knows his dad would freak out if swim told him he vomited fresh blood.

anybody got any practical advice, besides possible the emergency room? sit still, drink water, think good thoughts? it must be said just typing in his experience was almost enough to make him sick again.

please, someone, can I get some practical advice? is there something I can take or do I just need to "ride this out"? He's feeling somewhat more clear-headed but cold; doubt it's shock because this is 3-4 hours after vomiting the blood. doesn't mean anything, swim knows...... , and stomach is pretty damn nauseated. drinking lots of water but having the urge to vomit again.
