Where does swiy find needles?
Swim's searched the forum, and checked local phamacies,(I don't think specification is allowed) via the world wide web, and turned up no results. Swim knows no diabetics who'd be willing to support such a thing, and doesn't have any friends that inject. But swim's wondering:

How does swiy get their gear? Wether it be the first time, or a replacement.

Pharmacies usually have them, SWIM's gotten them by just going to the pharmacy and asking for insulin syringes.

This is what swim's looking to do, but he looks like a typical junkie, with long hair, flannel shirt, band T, jeans, and to top it all off, a Jack Daniels hat. And the neighborhood swim's in would probably be uptight about it, ask questions, ask for proof, etc. But hell, askin never hurt, it'll just be awkward to see the person again.

God forbid you get a costume. Leaving the hat off and putting your hair in a band would probably do a world of good, not to mention a decent shirt and clean pants.

If you look like a junky, then do soemthing to look respectable.

Yeah, they are all over the internet. I've never bought them online myself but I know those that have.

Not when swim looks !! *bay sells syringes with needles in sterile packing !(the ones used to inject) Not to write. With a wide choice, If swiy cant find them on *bay, then I dont know..

Swim is not sure where swiy lives but on the tealk to Frank website here in the UK it has a section on it where it will find you your closest needle exchange which is quite helpfull but if this isnt possible swim just suggests as said above. Swim bought her first pack of needles off that auction sight and never had any problems with them.

SWIM says that finding a legitimate online supplier is, for instance, as simple as searching Google for "syringes needles."

...is SWIY really so unsatisfied with the much safer alternatives to slamming? SWIY can really fuck himself up doing that...and anything that can be injected can also either be parachuted, snorted, or smoked. Hell even plugging is less risky. All of which can give the same level of high if done correctly...

That's not really true. Some things can't be taking via the digestive track. Cocaine will be broken down by esterase enzymes. Morphine and many other opiates are very poorly absorbed via the GI tract. Injection also provides a much faster pathway to the brain resulting in a greater rush and euphoria.

Buying online is one option but SWIM has changed her appearance before entering a drugstore to look like a soccer mom. Gone are the piercings and the tats are covered. Hair is blow dried instead of spiked. SWIM actually has a boring outfit she wears to ask for insulin syringes or saying that she got liquid B-12 from the doc and he told her she could get the SubQ syringes at any pharm. SWIM does not slam anymore but would be careful about some online sites who do sterilize needles but not with autoclaving, and then carefully glue the packing back together.

In Illinois by law they have to sell you up to 2 10-pack bags of 1 cc (max) insulin needles at any pharmacy. A lot of other states have that law, but in some states just having a needle without a medical reason is a "paraphernalia" charge. Depends where you live. You a US person?

In texas needles are kind of a pain to get at pharamacys. Then again, so is filling a script from a quack. Just keep asking and clean your look up some.

AFOAF's dog once acquired a package of 10cc needles for his pet medication. When the pharmacist ask what a dog would need with them, he replied, "Woof, bark...bark bark...grrrr....dog medication of course."
