In his younger days swim had a lot of experience with making his own shit to smoke out of and swim had some pretty awesome stuff that cam about like the batman bowl a socket wrench with bolts affixed inside to make an awesome bowl it was named the batman bowl cus it was wrapped in yellow electrical tape and when swim and his buddys were high it just seemed like a great name.
So what kind of funny impromptu things has swiy made in the past.

swim loved making bamboo chillums...tkes like 5 min and they alst a while. if u dnt know what they are is like a chillum made from bamboo but with a small hole in the knot wnd a short bowl carve above it. apples are a classic but swim dnt like them much.

From the kitchen I got a cake decorating stainless steel "tube" (more like a tip, used to decorate cakes) that I use as a bowl (you can get them at any supermarket), and a water bottle which I did a 1.75" hole at 4 1/2 inches height. From the tool shed I got a 1.5" cooper tube and cut it to 6 inches to make it the stem, and put it though the hole; wherever the hole and copper tube passed thought and made contact, I rolled electric tape around the tube to seal the .25" diameter difference and get it air tight. That's my ghetto impromptu bong. Oh yeah, you might wanna make a carb if you can't handle the 2 second hot bowl.

If no time or desire, I just get a paper towel roll and put the same stainless steel tip (I now have a few of these on certain places) on a 1" hole 2" from either side of the empty paper roll; the closest opening to the bowl is the carb.

yeah, Swim always makes impromptu gravity bongs from household materials and either his trusty one hitter or a chamberpipe bowl

these peices cost about 5-10 dollars all things considered and tend to rip face beyond anything anyother device can offer and save weed in the process

soldering iron vapeorizer all you need is a soldering iron a thinbul a brass screw a jar a peace of tubin and a drill take the needel out of the soldering iron drill a hole in the thinbul put the brass screw in the hole then put both of them into the end of the soldering iron make 1 big hole in the jar lid for the soldering iron make 2 small holes 1 for the tubing and you leav the other 1 for the air flow you might want to super glue the top of the soldering irons handel to the top of the jars lid then glue the lid to a pringles tube with the soldering iron on the inside of it have fun dont for get when you start to see vapeors turn it off or it will burn your herb

When Swim really really needs to smoke impromptu he uses a cigarette. He carries some bud in his pack (but you might as well just ask someone for one; you don't really need to be a smoker, just bud) and whenever he wants he just unpacks the tip of a cigarette (in the bathroom or something), packs some bud, then returns it to the box (and puts the box upside down in his pocket) and when outside he just loses the filter and smokes until the bud is gone. (keep the packed side up)

Usually takes a minute to pack and 10 seconds to smoke and then Swim just throws it away and he carries on with the conversation.

Please explain how this was done. Paintball pods are very small. How was this fashioned into a bong? Was it cleaned first? What was used as the bowl?

The side of a business envelope (The kind that seal with a strip instead of a V) cut at an angle (About 1.5in on the bottom and a little less than an inch at the top). You want that little flap from the seal and it's a nice little pouch and can be used to load a bowl on the go with minimal spillage.

I thought it was clever anyways when Swim did it.

Back when swim first started smoking he couldnt roll so used to create "McGyver bongs/pipes" to get the job done ..... basically using whatever random materials are available to create a pipe or bong. Usually consisting of a plastic bottle containing water with the hollow case of a pen jutting out at an angle.



Similar to the above picture i found on the net, except swim used the pen as the point of inhalation and created a make shift gauze/screen to ignite the marijuana where the cap should be....swim usually used tinfoil for the gauze but later learned that tinfoil gives off some unwanted fumes when heated. Sellotape or chewing gum if your desperate to seal the gap left between the pen and bottle to get it airtight. Its easy enough to Mcgyver a disposable bong together even with basic materials.

Just remember - essentially all one needs is an opening section where something can be burned, an opening section to inhale the smoke, and something inbetween the two openings which connects them to one another and then to make sure its airtight with the exception of the intentional openings.

Swim always used to smoke from shottie bottles when he was younger, it was his favorite method of smoking (and still is although he has a proper bong nowadays) it was quick and simple you didn't need to make gauzez just a hollow tube a plastic bottle and a lighter swim and his friends could fashion them anywhere even out of a beer can and a coke bottle.

Bottle bongs.

Burnt a hole in the top/cap and a hole near the bottom of the bottle with a lit cigarette, then can snuggle a joint into the top and suck through the hole if no water is available, filling up the bottle with smoke, then just unscrew the lid and take a bigger hit than if dragging the joint normally.

All you need for waterless gravity bong it a mountain dew bottle, a baggy, tape and foil.

cut a whole in the cap of the bottle and make a cone shaped bowl out of the foil and place it in the top.

cut bottle in half

tape bag around the bottom of the bottle

light the bud/tobbaco in the bowl and light it slowly pulling the bad out of the bottle untill its full

take cap off and enjoy!

swim spent a few summers manufacturing cargo trucks. during one of those summers, he eventually gathered enough spare engine parts and fuel lines (all unused parts, by the way) to create a monster water pipe. it required a 3-liter bottle to fit the bowl and water into and had a fuel line coming out where the smoker could take a hit. since a lot of the parts were threaded metal, they could be screwed together to form an airtight seal. swim dubbed his creation "the diesel." it never got used much, though, since it used a lot of bud (and swim was always iffy about smoking on metal parts). swim ended up getting a proper glass bong on sale not too long after, so "the diesel" has been relegated to memory

Swim once really needed a smoke. Swim doesn't use anything without a stem shorter than 6", and didn't have a pipe. Swim had a water bottle (refilled Sobe Life plastic bottle), and got a metal pipe with an impromptu bowl from ACE. Swim managed to get an airtight seal because the bottle was thicker than most plastic soda-type bottles. There was water already in the bottle, and after melting a carb SWIM had a nice bong going. The only problem is that the bowl is on level with the mouthpiece. SWIM will eventually fix this by putting a second bottle on top to extend the length, and hopefully swim will be able to use some ice to cool the smoke further.

Swim also enjoys making pipes out of fresh-cut bamboo. After carving out the pipes SWIM bakes them to cure them, and the smell of baked bamboo is actually really nice.

In a recent turn of new events swim can once again add to his list of wacky things to smoke out of. One day swim and his buddy were just coming out of their favorite smoking spot and stoned as all get out swim's buddy suddenly yelled STOP! so he did he put it in reverse and backed up untill his buddy got out of the car and came back with a medical cane that was just lying on the ground. Swim kept it cus a lot of his friends thnks he looks like house from tv so he thought itd be funny. Well once again swim and his buddy joined by yet another friend were in the same spot and swims friend suddenly notices the cane and starts fiddling with it... he eventually takes of the bottom part leaving a curved tube with 9 holes (used for adjusting the height of the cane) swims buddy then preceded to put the lit joint in one of the holes and it fit perfectly then we started taking hits of it using the other holes as carbs. Swim and his friends were all soooo stoned by the end of this it was amazing just how well it worked and swim thinks it is probally a completly origional idea.
