For those concerned with recycling their finished alcohol bottles/cans (or anything else for that matter, but trying to keep it in the forums scope) and especially in those areas where recycling is a bit less common, it makes it much easier for those involved to keep your recyclables in a clear or white bag.
this makes it much easier to identify for those involved. because recyclables have to be sorted much more than regular grade trash it it is easier for those involved to tell which bags are can go to the recycling plants. this is something that many people that i live around do not know. if a bag is questionable it is thrown into the regular waste bin by those who sort it. in areas with any sort of municipal recycling bins some times regular trash gets mixed in and this means that the batch cannot go be recycled.
so yeah, swim would recommend having a designated receptacle for empties lined with a clear bag. just a tip from a student who has discovered this
