Drug info - correct way to store pills?

is there a right and wrong way to store pills? swim is concerned that the room he is storing a few pills in is too cold.

An airtight container or baggy would do the trick. As long as it doesn't get too hot it shouldn't be a problem, and clearly wont in SWIY's case.

Swim has read that the worst place to store meds is in the bathroom medicine cabinet.

She's read that the heat and humidity are bad for medications. (The kitchen could also cause heat --stoves, dishwashers, etc.)

Keep them in a cool, dry, place away from heat and light, but always check recommendations for specific medications.

Also check into desiccant packets to place in with the meds. Don't store meds in the fridge if children could easily access that area.

I remember reading once something Alex Shulgin said about MDMA, which was that if the Ancient Egyptians had left some in the pyramids so their pharaohs could go raving in the afterlife, it'd still be active today. So it's pretty stable! That said, I guess the inside of a pyramid is probably going to be pretty dry. Most important thing about where to keep your stash is that it's somewhere inquisitive eyes and hands aren't going to come across it.
