that while being on uppers really does intensify concentration, that doesn't always mean you can get anything done. Swim can actually sit and write a 20 page paper in an hour, sure, but swim knew it wouldn't be a great idea to turn this in for a grade considering what was written would only make sense to her, even if it were genius. Switching from downers to uppers didn't benefit swim as much as she thought it would and is sad that she chose such a poor time to figure this out. She's also sad that she has went from completely hating the high that uppers give you to preferring it over downers.

In conclusion, there really is no real smart combination of drugs and school, no matter what drug you decide is best.

SWIM is disappointed in herself.

She can appreciate the high and also feel sad about mistakes she made while on them.

It has been a long time since SWIM used speed, so she can't comment on that but assuming the high that cocaine gives is also considered an 'upper' she knows for sure that there is no way she could ever produce any academic work on it, nor would she ever feel the need to try, lol, but when she first started using heroin she did get a boost in creativity and work production. It was only when she allowed herself to overuse and become addicted that the problems started. For SWIM it was the other way round to AmIHighYet - uppers were always her thing and now she much prefers downers. Fortunately we don't have to choose, lol.

It makes sense that when you're contantly awake you'll get something done.

But then its 10 hours later and the only thing you have to show for it are random words on your computer that made sense to you at one point. SWIM just forgets when.

yeah, lol .... with SWIM she may be awake for eighteen hours straight sometimes but there are about a million things a minute racing through her brain ... very vague, obscure thoughts, often quite bizarre ones too! SWIM has done the whole random words on a page thing too!

SWIM found it funny that she proofread it a million times for spelling and grammar mistakes as if it mattered, she realized she enjoyed doing it. SWIM narrates every little move that's made.

Swim uses speed when he has very much to do for school. And for swim it really helped, and it went good aswell. Got good grades and all that. If swim just starts with the school work at once, then he get the focus on that and it gets written good.

Swim has good experience with amphetamins for schoolwork.
