Combinations - Heroin and Alcohol

Not a good idea. Swim has had a friend die from this combination from using both in excess. However swim has drank numerous times on alcohol, though never too much alcohol. Anyone else have experiences with this combo?

Red Rock has done this combo many times but often found drinking while high on H very unpleasant and it made him sick as well after say like 4-5 drinks. After a while of doing H daily, he basically stopped all drinking as it just liked the H effect by itself

SWIM's experience is the same as Red Rock. Within a couple months of becoming a heroin addict he completely stopped using alcohol for the same reasons, and didn't touch it while he could afford to use daily or since really.

Yes swim done it many times, but finds heroine on its own better..

SWIM has also done this many times, but only during the beginning phases of his H use. Once he was a full on addict he pretty much stopped caring for alcohol along with almost all other drugs he was using prior, except for cocaine as SWIM really loved speedballing

Swim can't drink at all when he's on oxy coz just one strong drink will make him power chuck. Just one big chuck then he feels great. Another drink and guess what? Big chuck again. It just don't mix well.

yeah swim has been drunk and done h but never in reverse order. has heard its a bad idea but so is doing any of it. and it never makes swim sick, but swim was never excessively drunk so maybe that is why. smoking cigarettes while on h though is always a guaranteed vomit for swim though, dont know why.

Some quotes from the UK NHS publication "Does the combined use of heroin or methadone and other substances increase the risk of overdose?", which highlight the dangers of the Heroin+Alcohol combination:

For heroin fatalities, alcohol was the most commonly detected
substance, found in around 50 per cent of cases

Alcohol was the only accompanying substance associated with
lower heroin blood levels. Where alcohol was detected, levels
were between 20 per cent and 50 per cent lower, suggesting that
concurrent alcohol use reduces the lethal heroin overdose
threshold by as much as half.

Alcohol concentrations, even those associated with mild
intoxication, appear to lower the amount of heroin required to
fatally overdose.
