The Vinegar Fly
Swim is relatively new to homebrewing but has made a few batches of hard cider before.He's been fermenting 2L of hard cider for 8 days now (added sugar, used baker's yeast) and has realized that even though he covered them both with a balloon a fly sneaked inside one of them;
(really small, kinda like the flies that are always around fruit) Is this the "Vinegar Fly" that converts wine into vinegar? If not, should swim keep it for aging or should he dump the whole thing? Thanx, Robo
