Bad neck, throat, lung pain after MDMA

Rabbit has used ecstasy a few times in both pill and crystal form and other than having a bit of an achy jaw/few tired comedowns hasn't had any problems until now.

This Friday just gone Rabbit got hold of some awesome crystals and had the best roll ever. He took around 250mg over the course of the night and it felt so clean and fresh. When Rabbit got home his jaw didn't feel bad and he could sleep straight away and felt very happy and floaty.

However, when he woke up yesterday he had an ache running down the sides of his neck from his ears and a sore lump around his adam's apple when swallowing. The top of his chest also aches when rabbit takes a deep breath. He can also feel/hear crunchy crystal-like feel when he presses the side of his neck or moves his jaw, especially just below his ears, which feel a little blocked themselfs.

Rabbit put this down to dancing but is kind of worried he may have done some damage. Has anyone else experianced anything similar?

I would like to add that Rabbit's a very healthy person with no bad medical history and eats a healthy diet and takes vitamins, magnesium etc.

Re: Bad neck, throat, lung pain after MDMA

It sounds more like an upper respiratory infection than something MDMA caused. Does the rabbit feel like he's coming down with something?

That just sounds like the natural popping noises every rabbit's head will make when moving the large jawbone around in space. This interrupts the delicate equilibrium so popping noises are the air balancing itself back into equilibrium. This is entirely normal and nothing to be afraid of.

Feel free to call me out if my guesses are completely off, I may have read into the post completely wrong.

Re: Bad neck, throat, lung pain after MDMA

Little fishy often has a tight throat after a MDMA session. The soreness (at least for him) is caused by phlegm in the back of the throat and passes once it has been coughed up, normally within 24-48 hours. The stiff neck and/or body parts is usually caused by muscle tension or dancing and is quite common.

Hot showers and a pain-reliever cream like Aspercream should help the soreness.
Very true, when a certain person is on a lot of MDMA he clenches his arms/fists as well as his jaw without thinking about it. This person often gets a sore body/throat infection the next day.
