I was wondering if anybody might be able to offer insight into a little theory I have to why swim cant get a hit off e.
I was hoping some chronic potheads might be able to reply. To fulfill the requirements of the ideal pothead to answer my question you should fulfill ALL 4 conditions:
- Be a daily smoker of cannabis for over 10 years
- use cannabis to escape your problems and fears
- find it almost impossible to control or limit your usage
- find that you go mental if you don't have it
I've just got a theory that with the cannabis abuse swim has kind of rewired their brain, or at least totally fucked the serotonin system.
swim finds that if his angry he smokes a bowl his emotions change, if he stops cannabis his emotions change too. surely this must play with brain chemistry in the long term... as if the withdrawl symtoms are created by one's brain to produce anxiety, frustration and irritabilty to get you to smoke up.
So what I'm looking for is other people that have struggled with cannabis addiction for a long time. Do you get a hit from MDMA or other amphetamine based drugs?
