Hi guys, I've never really been to a big rave but I heard it's intense. I've never really been to a rave period.I would love to go to one so bad but there illegel in NY state now cause ourlaws suck. I was thinking of going to Canada for a big event. But I don't want to go all that waysto a bad one and be dissapointed. What websites can Ilook on to find out when some raves are going on? Any of you Candians out there know where there are any good raves happening this summer? Thanks!!!!

Well there aren't really raves anymore ANYWHERE because it's so mainstream and even just calling it a rave will get the cops there. They're usually referred to as parties or events. What you're talking about is a massive and they usually get a lot of publicity so that the crews throwing them can cash in on all the newbies.

I've never looked around for events in area other than my own (and I happen to be so lucky to live in CO where the scene is still relatively bangin)so I don't know if this will help you, but unnet.net usually has good listings as well as a forum. Try to google "rave forum" or stuff like that, you'll most likely find something to your liking.

Good luck!

Go to europe for raves. There it is actually a rave rather than a
bunch of drunk idiots listning to technoish rap songs like here.
Ive heard of raves with 1000 people in germany sometime late last year
i think. And cops arent as much of a worry there as it is
here. At least thats my plan someday

Planet Angel is the only one I go to. I go every
month
seeing as it happens once a month, but that's perfect for me. I don't
want to
go over the top with E. Going to a Rave every 1 or 2 months and dropping
4 or 5 pills keeps it special for me. What's so great about Planet
Angel is
that it's spread by word of mouth, it doesn't advertise at all, even
their
dates for the next event! So the only way you can hear about it is
through
friends, which is good because you don't get any assholes in there and
you can always trust the people you buy the pills off. It's basically
just
a huge group of friends. On a good night it can be filled with about 3
or 4
hundred people.

Back on-topic though, Unsolved, I can't
believe you've never been to a big or at least proper Rave before. I hope you
will be able to go as soon as possible. On E, it's indescribable. </span>

Any club open all night (not hard to find in NY in the city) is sure to have some house/breaks/trance events. Actual "raves" in the US are still around, but so underground, you must know somebody to get in, private places, camping grounds, islands, or out on a boat, but of course they will not have the production and lighting and u won't catch ur favorite DJ there. If you ever do make it to South Florida, though, all of South Beach in Miami has becomea rave. Edited by: X-Dream

i've been to a barter fair in the middle of the woods that had over 50,000 people camping there. half of them were in the rave area at night and the other half were at the drum circle ... that was one of the most intense drum circles i've witnessed. thousands upon thousands of people trippin' in the middle of the woods dancing to hundreds of drummers frying on lsd and beating away at drums around a huge bon fire. naked hippies jumping and dancing and howling getting caught up in a fire dancing drum dancing drumming lsd trip trip trip tripppppp. the rave area was pretty bumpin' too ... lots of kiddies dancing and rolling and grinnin...

yeah ... the barter fair season is comming very soon ... itchy for it
lol
