Cleaning - How to clean a metal pipe?

Hey guys SWIM just bought a little pipe off his buddy and it's quite dirty, resin everywhere. Just any tips on how to clean it, i don't give two asses about resin i just want it cleaned.

if SWIY doesn't want to smoke the resin, just take a paper clip and scrape it into a ball and smoke it just like weed.

but if they don't care about that, break the pipe up if it has multiple peices and immerse it in a a non-polar solvent, such as isopropyl alcohol, ethanol (high concentration), methanol, propane, acetone, toulene, benzene or something else like that and let that shit sit until the solvent becomes dark brown. the remaining resin can be removed with a rag

thanks man, i also heard that you can boil it and everything will come off and it will be shiny new, will this make SWIMs house smell? if so how long?

You could try boiling, it would defiently make it somewhat cleaner. Boil for a few mins (5mins) Swim usually jus takes his pip apart and stoke out all the resin, wash, boil then use! Hope it works for ya

Just use some rubbing alcohol to clean it out, shake it with some in, or just let it soak.

Try soaking in isopropyl alcohol overnight. Then scrape with a toothpick. Then blast it with hot water from the faucet. Then when SWIY rinsed out as much resin as SWIY could, use a cotton ear swab to get any bits that may be left.

Using this technique SWIY should be able to clean it out so well that it doesn't even smell like resin anymore.

swim tends to use a blow torch and compesed air my mate uses this fancy thing he's got to clean his tatoo gear it make his pipes are always like bran new
