Gilbert's syndrome and marihuana

SWIM has been recently diagnosed with Gilbert's Syndrome.
As he did some research about this "syndrome" he had found that this can be the potentional reason of his anxieties, depression, ISBs etc. and not his past cannabis abusing.

So he is aksing, does anybody else "suffers" from this syndrome?
If yes, how do you cope with it, did you notice some interactions with cannabis? Can it possibly worsen or lessen the symptons?

PS: SWIM is asking this same question but related with another type of drug in another forum and hopes this is not a problem, but he doesnt use just one type of substance.

Re: Gilbert's syndrome and marihuana

SWIM does not suffer from the syndrome but would think that it would only cause cannibinoids to be metabolized more slowly if that.
BTW, so everyone knows, Gilbert's syndrome causes a constant elevation in bilirubin in the blood due to the liver's reduced ability to congugate it (ie- pre-hepatic hyperbilirubinemia from deficiency in the liver enzyme glucuronyltransferase). It makes people look yellow (jaundice) because of this and otherwise presents with vague symptoms associated with the elevation.

Re: Gilbert's syndrome and marihuana

yep, thanks for brief explenation... forgot to mention smthg about this syndrome.

I just want to add, that jaundice is visible only in cases of very high elevation of bilirubin.. Thankfully SWIM's is not walking street like a yellowish zombie, but heard sometimes a comment about his eyes that they are yellow.
