Injecting - Anyone lost a leg?

So swim 'woke up' this morning, in a pretty bad rattle,....(still not used to the tiny size of these southern bags), and rushed off to score.
Met his usual man, who is supplied by another guy that swim used to score off and knows quite well.....
Shock horror!
Last night this acquaintance of swims shot an entire load into his femoral artery!
Fortunately he got to hospital in time, and they were able to give him a blood thinner, (his leg was the size of a fucking tree trunk), and his leg's gonna live for another day.
After fixing in a toilet (mission, the attendant just wouldn't fuck off), swim saw him this morning, crutches and all,....his mate had taken him out of hospital to score for him lol!

But yeah, after seeing this guy who normally runs around like a whippet, hobbling down the street after nearly losing his leg, it made me wonder, have any of you guys known people who haven't made it to hospital in time? any horror stories basically......
