Gbl Drug interactions

Swim in on 60mg prozac and 100mg of seroquel a day and is considering taking GBL, he has done some resarch and has found that there are indeed interactions however he still wants to take it and if he is sure it wont hurt/kill him he will still do so.

Does anybody have some kind of knowladge about this?

Re: Gbl Drug interactions

Prozac is not a concern with regards to this theoretical question, but Seroquel or, rather, Quetiapine, has a strong sedative effect which is of great concern when being discussed alongside GBL/GHB. More information is needed to make a qualified statement and I would advise great caution in this regard.

I have to say that, having just read up on Wikipedia about Seroquel, I am shocked at the the following comment too:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quetiapine

Quetiapine is controversially marketed to parents of moody and irritable teenagers in magazines such as PARADE and TV Guide.[9][10] The National Institutes of Health recommends against the use of quetiapine and almost all other psychotropic medications (including all atypicals, most antidepressants, and all benzodiazepines) by children or those under 18,[11] observing that teenagers taking quetiapine "may be more likely to think about harming or killing themselves or to plan or try to do so".[12]

WTF is up with you America? Stop drugging your kids because you can't be bothered to be parents to them!

Teenagers are *supposed* to be moody, their bodies are full of wild hormones that are meant to help craft the explorers, scientists, engineers and artists of the future!

If this continues you will end up with unthinking automatons who have no passion, inspiration or drive to overcome life's challenges . . . . oh, hang on, of course, my mistake. That's the point, isn't it?

Re: Gbl Drug interactions

I heed your advice and SWIM will not take this stuff till he is off the horrible satans tranquiliser.

I am on this stuff because I was mis diagnosed with psychosis, however it was only mere schitz ocd.

Lol I didnt know they put pissed off teenagers on anti-psychotics, it would probally just make them more pissed off because they make you feel so fucking shit.

I see the psych in a week or so anyway and im coming of the EVIL SEROQUEL, hopefully to something that dosent make me to tired all the time...
