Experiences - Anyone ever had a bad ketamine experience?

Swim has spent all morning reading reports, case-studies, reviews and tests from the Ketamine File Archive, and has honestly been enlightened. Ketamine is such an eye-opening, fascinating substance. However, one question remains in Swim's mind.

Has anyone ever had a bad experience with ketamine? Swim is not referring to when Swiy combined it with alcohol or when Swiy took too much and went stumbling down a busy road. Swim is talking about when the scene, setting and scenario are perfect, Swiy is administering ketamine safely, working towards K-hole, and from then on - any bad experiences?

The reason Swim asks is because during his reading this morning he came across NDE and NBE (Near Death and Near Birth Experiences), which said these are sometimes unpleasant. It went on to say how people had experienced visiting hell.

My Swim has never had a bad experience. His K-holes are always absolutely euphoric, however he would be interested to hear if anyone has had an unpleasant trip, and if they can describe how they felt during and after.

Well my sloth has had plenty of k-holes which, on later consideration, could be bloody scary (such as being buried alive many kilometres beneath the surface of the earth on his own), but at the time he has been so disconnected as to not consider this an unusual thing.

So no, if his k-hole hasn't been euphoric, it's always been an amazing experience.

Then again, he enjoys his nightmares too.

After many weeks of daily ketamine use, SWIM felt extremely depersonalized and deranged. No ammount of ketamine would feel good. Paranoia and delusions were commonplace, as were amazingly lucid insights into human existance. It is certainly the strangest paradox SWIM ever encountered.

When you turn off the emotional content of consciousness, it becomes apparent how much like a computer that rationale mind actually is.

I think someone said it best "It is possible to be too objective"

Alfie my pet horse has had more negative trips off Ketamine than from LSD. (although this is likely because LSD use has been minimal where as ket use has been habitual)

Ket is still a powerful hallucinogenic even if random in pattern. Alfie says he's probably had 4-5 bad K-holes, which were as bad as his worst trip, although lasted a much shorter period of time.

The worst was when he was binging as usual and did a half g line. He says he was at the top of the house (the attic where his stable is) which is where he actually was... but he started walking down the stairs, noticing an increasing heat, and becoming weaker and weaker until the point when the house was burning intensively and he saw the skin/hair burn off his limbs revealing his skeleton he was still battling down the stairs into the inferno. He then snapped out of it, to awaken curled up in a foetal position in the floor of his stable. His m8s, had just said he went into a K-hole. That was that.

Why this happened he is unsure. K is an unpredictable drug this is one of the reasons it is not widely used.

Swim has taken a fat line of K with three other k snorting friends. We all had musical instruments, and we were all stoked. This was, however, my first k experience. Basically, after about 5-15 min, swim lost control of speech, body- couldn't even fit swims fingers on the fretboard of the guitar.swim was just yelling and strumming frantically. Tunnel vision to the extreme. swim felt like swim was in Las Vegas in HSTs shoes adrenocrone experience in Fear. Bats everywhere. swim was really stoked and euphoric, but freaked out by the intensity of the experience. Swim kept asking swims friend if swim was going to die. swim was sttraight up to this point. then began the purge. So much purging while still tripping balls. Even laughing and joking in between lunges into the tiolet. Like patterns and colors and reflections in the tiolet all tripified. Then swim began admitting things swim wouldn't normally have done so, not treally embarassing, just kinda awkwardish after. But then again, swim has panic/anxiety, so the bad side affects could have been a combination of inexperience, anx., and too large a starting dose. Drip was fucking gross. Overall. It is very hard to figure the dose out before hand without experience or and experienced friend/ cotripper. Swim friend explained it to swim this way (though a slight exxaggeration I say) "It's like taking ten (xanax) bars, ten beers, a ten strip (of L), and nitrous." swim (or swims friewnd for that matter) hasn't ever taken that much at once, but if i had to predict an outcome, i would say it would be similar to too much K. Also, swim didn't eat much at all that day. Try eating something light, but enough so your tummy can handle that awfully digesting chemical. Caution: break up crystals thouroughly- swim snorted mad crystals and it fuckt swim up.

It seems, to swim, that the majority of people dont have bad experiences from ket because they become so disconnected from the world that they dont care whats happening, they dont feel fear because they are disconnected from their body. How can you feel pain if you have no body? How can something with no body die?

Not really, but swim did kinda "paranoid" as he was coming down after bumping k for 4 hours and called in sick for work.

Than he found that there was nothing to do, went and got more k, called up his friend, and went back to being a ghost.

SWIM has never had a 'bad' k experience, although the closest thing would be that he told me that once while in a hole he got so nauseated he couldn't even move but at the same time had no urge to vomit and that completely ruined everything that night.

Swin has never ever had a bad experience while doing Vitamin K its a beatiful teip man very eye opener and i real its not addictive if you do it once in a while but if you do it everyday man sucks to be you
