Effects - they say heroin is so good, dont even try it once...

but is this true? swim has heard from many places that heroin is one of the most euphoric drugs ever (obviousely) and hears often that once you experience its power, nothing in life or other drug can compare to it. no life experiences, love, etc cannot equal to the experience of heroin. if this is true then it would make sense as to why its so hard to quit considering it would leave life almost meaningless and uninteresting.

but is that actualy true or is it exaggerated? and if it IS true, do they mean injected heroin (seems more likely) or does this also apply to all methods of ingestion?

swim would say, for the most part, it's true for a lot of people. And swim is talking about mainly IV use. it took over swim's life for 2 years, as well as many he knows for longer than that.

Swim has alos known people who threw away their life initially for insufflated use. For swim this was not the case, he was able to insufflate, and not touch it for over a year before he tried shooting it. And then things went really bad. But swim has at least one friend who still only snorts the shit, and he was just as big as a fiend as any of the rest.

Well in a way,yes!
It seems to have a power and a feeling like nothing else swim has ever tried,and how can you not like it,I mean even snorting it,if you like narcotics at all then you will love even just snorting heroing,it was all I ever thought about for a hile,then swim left it for a couple month.
After that he got right back on because its the only thing that made him happy,and thats whe he started shooting it,now this is a hole different monster!
The first time swim shot it,even though it was a very small dose,the effects were pure joy and a feeling of everything being perfect and nothing at all could go wrong,from there it just gets worse,once you start coming down you need more and more to keep ur self happy and then ur hooked,actualy you were probably hooked after the first bag but dident know it!

Swim can look back on her very first shot of heroin and remember how amazing it was. She was able to come close to that a few times, but that first time ...ahhhh....nothing like it. It was truly like nothing else.

However ..

As much as swim loved her heroin, she does not see life as meaningless and uninteresting without it. Swim has never found that same feeling that she found with heroin, but then again, swim can't really compare it to anything else. Swim knows she is comparing a drug-induced experience to "normal" life experiences, so it's a bit unequal.

Funny thing is (if you haven't read this already, lol) swim hasn't used in years but has been struggling with an impending relapse.

The draw is that great: for some people.

Swim actually knows some people who don't care for it, but mainly because they prefer stimulants.

As far as it being greater than love, well, perhaps swim can agree with that. Swim has been lucky in that she's never had a bad experience with heroin, love on the other hand ... *hehe*

Admittedly, this was insufflation, not IV, but it was frankly unimpressive. The source said the bag was easily four tickets to the land of nod, but the conductor through nobody out long before the destination. The source is known for being a lightweight user, but his warning that doing a full bag would be dangerous was rather inane. Maybe it was just low grade, heavily cut stuff, maybe it's the best ya can get up the nose. Nobody has had much stronger effect off of PST or Vicoden, both of which were much more standardized (in dosing), and longer lasting.

Heroins just not nobody's cup of tea.* To expensive and not very strong. One of these day's they'll try IV when they get around to it, they are confident in their self control and discipline to not be worried.

On the other hand, everyone (with half a brain) nobody's met who has smoked crack, said the overwhelming euphoria and instant desire for MORE, seems a lot closer to this. Nobody has had a bag of the stuff for ages but won't touch it, probably never will.

Everyone animal will have a different response to each route of administration. Once the animal finds the preferd route it does become the best feeling they've ever experienced, however for some animals its cocaine or crack which really isnt much better. If u think about it almost every drug animlas have done they'd do again. Its cause they draw a line, once they cross the line and "try something new" they'll enjoi it and then seeing as they have already done it, they will do it again! Smart animals draw the line and stay on the right side!

sounds to swim like the swiy got some bunk heroin, probably cut the hell out of, if hydrocodone gives swiy a stronger effect. Even insufflated, hydrocodone doesn't compare to even low-mid grade heroin around swim's area.

Swim use to shoot opiates. Morphine, heroin .after not doing it for about a year in a half he rarely thinks about it. Swim would say his first orgasm was similar to the first time he shot up. (fucking nice real nice...but bit over talked about).

When he thinks about all the drugs hed love to do again..(swim does not use drugs) He does not think about doing heroin.. he thinks about the sweet nothingness of a benzodiazapine black out.(extremely dangerous and a horrible idea.)

swim finds it interesting to read posts from recreational heroin or opiate users who talk about it in a experimental way. as swim has never met people who are like this and is used to a very different type of user .when swim was a "smackhead" he wouldnt have had the money or time to join a forum and the pc would have been sold double quick.Only since stopping use of heroin has swim been able to own material possesions and have time enough ,and inclination to talk about it.swim rarely talks about the highs or even trys to recall pleasures of opiate abuse,as it leads to dangerous places for swim .still it takes all sorts to make a world ,fair play to you all

Swim has a really addictive personality and he knows for a fact that if he even touches heroin he'll be instantly hooked.He enjoys taking codeine very much and can barely stop for a few days.
He can't even imagine what he's heroin addiction will be like...

Nobody knows how much they like opiates and how quickly a bottle of vicoden will disappear once secured, so they rarely go out looking to get them, outside of situations of intense pain. If the opportunity presents itself, that's one thing, but one needs to be very conscious of addictive potential and monitor one's body. You wake up in the morning and see you are all out and think "time to get more", this is a good time to NOT get more. This is a good time to forget about what ever substance it is for some time.

Nobody is also a decade long smoker, 3-20 packs a year. Nobody may binge at festival and go through three packs in a week then go months with out smoking more then once or twice when given one for free. Nobody has gotten packs, smoked a few and forgotten about them for weeks. It is discipline. It is concious awareness of the body and mind. Make rules and follow them. Nobody only smokes krateks, nobody never finishes a pack and goes out to get another right away. They watch how often they smoke and when things get heavy, lay off. Even if it's been a while since the last smoke, when nobody gets an urge, they contemplate it for a while, if the opportunity presents itself to pick some up and they have the extra money, then maybe it occurs. There are a few regular instances where nobody will purposefully pick up smokes, end of October, or going to Festival, but those aren't often. Winter is usually a really good time for nobody to not smoke, being freezing cold takes the fun out of it. but this is getting kind of off topic.


But face it, if you can not kick the tobacco habit, you are no doktor and it is best not to proceed further on the path of poisons.

We are a rare breed that is true, but generally outspoken and likely to spread the good words. Of course doing so is not with out risk to others. Those who choose to dabble in the heavy poisons may make them look inciting to others, especially those who do not have the solar salt to keep the darkness at bay.

if i recall correctly swim shot smack after first smoking it for 2 years ,it was a purely financial desiscion ,shall swim smoke £40 or shoot a fiver.it was nice and getting the hit was the best bit ,it used to knock swim down ,great days , 6 months later a £20 shot wouldnt change the exppression on my face and was used to just keep swim straight so he could try to be normal enough to con and scam and get generally larcenous . dont waste swiys time ,as it sure as s#**t werent that good.

Hmmm if heroin is so good, I had best not try it. But I wouldn't without a medical grade supply of it and doctor/nurse to professionally administer it. At least thats what I tell myself at this point in life
