Overdose - Death

I know someone who is seriously considering suicide, and was wondering if anyone knows what death from a Dihydrocodeine overdose would be like? I mean, would it make you real sick first, or would you just black out and that'd be it? Bearing in mind this is pure DHC, with no paracetemol in or any nasty crap like that......

Why do you particularly care about the nastyness of paracetamol or so when intending to die? Their effects are probably minimal on an OD (whatever you OD on), since symptoms of paracetamol OD, ingested, come after 24 hours at least and most be massive. It appears you are trying to escape out of a situation; a very hard one. But maybe you should realize that by the nature of your comment that it may not be the way you want to deal with it. I certainly don't know, but please reckon that you probably don't "know" either; you FEEL like so.

I am relatively new to these forums, and don't know if it would be adecuate to answer you question.

um euthanasia is illegal in most countries, so i believe that we cannot give your friend advice on this topic even if it is legal in their country.

Well, most opioids would probably just make you fall asleep and depress your respiration to the point where you stop breathing, but DHC would probably cause a severe allergic reaction first, which probably wouldn't be too pleasent.

What about over-dosing on Dextropropoxyphene? Bearing in mind SWIM has 100 Destirol (32.5mg of Dextropropoxyphene with 325mg Paracetamol)

Would that be a peaceful way to go....? Hypothetically, of course.....
