Scared shitless of effexor (venlafaxine) withdrawal

swim has been on effexor for years and wants to get off of it due to increasingly unpleasent side effects. swim is scared to go through the withdrawl ( verry shitty) just to find out he is worse without it. he cant stay on it either .... swim feels a bit hopeless
