Effects - Weird trip whilst greening out.

Swim has greened out a few times during his many years of smoking but one green out of recent swim has never experienced before.
Upon feeling the becomings of the green out swim lied down on the bed ready to lay it out.

swim does not know how much time passed before the initial onset of the trip. Anyway..

*Swim has never done a hallucinogen before*

Whilst laying down trying not to vomit. Swim began to have what he believes were keyhole hallucinations. The middle of swims vision consisted of random flashbacks to previous events in swims life, be it randomly walking through the school yard, or playing hockey. Swim also had these random visions of old television shows or movies, which appeared to have been shot in 70's. one swim quite clearly recalls is one of a shootout between police with big Afro's and skinny men. Directly surrounding these images swim could see black lines waving around, some times color was mixed in. On the out side's of these Swim could see the normal real room.

SWIM did not take any medication or form of drug/alcohol. prior or after smoking the bud

SWIM is wondering if any one else has experienced this, and if this is just an affect of greening or if there was something else at play

Forgive me, but I'm not certain what swiy means by 'greening out'. Could someone define that please?

Ah sorry, I forgot to include that. it usually involves throwing up and feeling naushe and dizziness, normaly occurs when someone smokes a lot of marijuana in a short period of time.

Normally occurs? What sort of people do you hang out with, who have given you the impression that this is normal? It CAN happen, but this would seem to be indicative of severe problems/abuse. Possibly contaminated product?

How much do you smoke, and by what means? Are you feeding yourself properly? What else are you ingesting?

Nobody has had a full on psychedelic experience off of a very small quantity of high quality grass once, and here and there they can induce CEV's, but that is mostly the result of intent and self training to do such things.

Nobody would be very concerned if they found someone who thought, what you describe, was normal.

I never said what swim described was normal. I said greening out normaly occurs from smoking alot of pot quickly. Nor did I say I smoked a small amount.

To answer the other questions.
Swim is feeding themselves proply, Swim also inguested nothing. 2 red bull cans at breakfast thats all.
No, It was not contaminated product as there were 4 other people smoking out of the same stuff as swim.

Swim smoked in this order. 5 cone hits from a bong, all largley packed. 2 pipe hits.
and a couple of hits from a joint.
All within a small timelimit

Frequency of use would be 2-3 cones from a pipe everyday. Quality was a bit above average then normal

Hmm, 'greening out,' that's a new one for me... SWIYs height, weight, time of use, normal dosage SWIY is used to, quality of product and several other factors can affect SWIY. The horrible fact that SWIY had two red bulls for breakfast did not help whatsoever. By that I mean it probably helped in the 'greening out.' Other than that, I have no idea what brought on these "visions," are you going through some personal mental health issues right now...doesn't have to mean your loony just maybe depressed or stressed out badly.

That is all the info I can offer as I have never met anybody have anything near as vivid of a hallucination from the herb as SWIY. I don't know if SWIY should be grateful or worried haha...Also, just cause SWIY's buddies didn't hallucinate doesn't mean the stuff is not contaminated, remember everyone's bodies are different and react dis similarly, so don't rule that out. To test it out next time, if the trichs seem to coat the bud and have an unnatural look an feel, bite it...yup, bite that bitch and if SWIY hears and feels a grinding sensation or sound then SWIYs got contaminated MJ.


If I were SWIY I would take a break for a few days maybe even a weeks or two. Had I hallucinated from bud, I probably would have freaked out to be honest...its a very low level hallucinogen(sp?) and most commonly, if enough is consumed, closed eye visuals are achieved.

Anyways good luck and be careful, check your herb always IMO, that goes for anyone that does not personally know the source.

I am proud to say in the about 6-7 months of smoking my dog has never greened out, though he has threw up because he swallowed smoke his second time. Those seem like crazy visuals man, I hope you enjoyed em dude, because I know my dog would have. Good herb.

unless SWYM likes 'greening out' i would advice getting a new dealer. you're getting you weed laced with something. SWIM has smoke as much if not more than you many times and have not experienced 'greening out', and SWIM's dealer likes to treat him with coke laced weed time from time.

Or it could just be the way SWYM reacts to THC. in this case do whatever you want

This 'greening-out' is known as 'whiteying' in the UK. 'Greening-out' is the American term. It is actually quite common (here in Northern Ireland anyway) for first time smokers to whitey, I've seen it happen several times in my school. It happened to me after smoking a legal substance known as 'Spice Gold'. It seemed to be the taste in particular that made me feel particularly nauseus and because of this, the taste of weed now makes me slightly nauseus (this goes away though, once I get high). It's never happened to me personally, from smoking weed, although whiteying is a fear of many first time smokers I know and one of my friends has been put off weed entirely from witnessing someone whiteying bad (the dude turned a 'glow-in-the-dark' colour) lol.

aha SWIM has had some seriously bad whiteys, you just pick up and move on. Its basicly the equivelent of getting too drunk and throwing up everwhere, followed usaully by feeling very embarrassed.

Yeah, Swim is from england, And it seems to happen to first time stoners Swim has experienced it when Swim tried a bucket i guess it cud be called a lung ? not sure for americans, Mostly just to much for there first time.

I've had one of these a little while ago, actually posted on the forums too. At large doses pot can really get psychoactive I believe. I didn't really get it but those keyhole hallucinations you are talking about may be happening to me as well, its like the big portion of the center of your field of vision becomes blurred and twirly like a portal or something is opening, but I've had these for very short times, multiple times.

One thing I don't understand is the ultimate defensive stance that some people take here. It could have happened, its not like its totally impossible to experience such a thing with just weed. I believe some of us are hugely underestimating the herb.
