Side effects - EXTREME paranoia

Hi, swim used to smoke marijuana daily but started to get horrible anxiety attacks from smoking the smallest amounts. swim has done most drugs and it seems to have started after datura innoxia use. could this be related? any ideas on how to overcome it? any one else have this problem? any info is appreciated. thanx.

Swim has smoked weed for 20+ years and was forced to quit a few years back due to heavy anxiety whenever swim smoked minimal amounts of pot. Heart racing, feeling of impending doom and other symptoms! Swim started using opiates about 8 years ago and it seems thats when the anxiety after smoking began. Dunno if it's related! Anyone else get this?

Very simple... stop doing drugs.

Datura? Are you surprised you are having negative effects from it? It isn't some sort of secret that that stuff is untrustworthy, dangerous, and not touched by damn near everyone. Don't taunt demons.

Really, you need to lay off everything, for a good long while, get your self clean. Maybe take up some yoga and other relaxation techniques, maybe a therapist.

Yes, it can be related to datura use. Why? Swim finds that drugs that induce visuals/mental changes/perception changes a la shrooms, LSD, DMT, Nitrous, and similar have their effects triggered/brought back to a minor degree when marijuana is smoked. Why? I don't know, but it happens to Swim all the time. It first happened with nitrous. Smoking pot after doing nitrous would cause sound flanging and distortion. Visuals would also seem to almost vibrate. It goes away with time. Low level DMT causes shadows to "bleed" for Swim. Smoking pot after doing low level DMT causes a minor trigger. It's like a experiental flashback.

Smoking pot is almost always difficult to start again after quitting because so many people report severe paranoia/anxiety returning like they just smoked for the first time. Swim has had this happen too. Taking a break and then doing several gravity bong hits sent Swim into a panic attack.

To overcome it? Smoke different strains, smoke different places/times, smoke in a different mood, smoke different ways, change things up! Smoke very small amounts often and build up tolerance. Swiy needs tolerance for the paranoia to go away. OR, Swiy has psychological/emotional issues currently that are being triggered/made aware of when smoking pot. Marijuana definately can bring out emotions or issues. Lots of reports lately about how marijuana can bring about schizophrenia, bipolar, depression, etc, in those sensitive to having such/having it but not having issues with it currently.

Or maybe Swiy just isn't made for drugs/should not be doing them, at least right now.

thanx for the suggestions. swim has never really been paranoid from any drug which is whats interesting. swim is 90% sure it has to do with the Datura. Its a very powerful drug that deserves respect (fear?) that swim obviously didn't give it.

sucks doesnt it? same thing happens to swim, swim would never thought the outcome would be not smoking anymore but if swiy gets more and more anxiety attacks it can trigger depression and alot of other dangerous things down the road. its not worth swiys life/style. swim remembers after the last anxiety attack after getting 3 more befere that he can overcome it.....wrong, swim thought it was over for his life and had to be admitted to the ER. after that its been hell/shit/everything swiy can imagine is bad, Racing hearts, fainting and scared of mostly anything. let it go. now swim takes xanax and depression pills for this shit. Swim loves weed But wont Smoke it.

How much of these paranoias and similar are present without marijuana, at least subconsciously? Marijuana triggers latent issues.

swim hasnt smoked in three months and he can still have a good time drinkin or with some drugs swim takes kpins for anxiety now but swim knows what swiy means he still loves weed. ^^^

Oh yeah, BTW, the paranoia on marijuana could be triggered by the Swiy's medications actually, at least IMHO it has potential. Seroquel fucks with dopamine, reducing it's effects, and marijuana acts of dopamine partially/to some degree. Swiy should look up what happens to other people when they combine marijuana and seroquel and marijuana and effexor. Erowid might have some experiences.
