question about Alprazolam bars... cutting them into squares
swim has some xanax bars (prescribed) and was wondeing if i cut them all into individual squares, will it make much of a difference? thanks

will it make a diffrence in what? i mean, obviuosly the dose will be smaller and i think it will hit u at about the same rate. exactly wat are u trying to see will be diffrent?

figured if i cut them into sqaures it might hit me harder/last longer

at best itll hit u a lil faster due to the increase in surfac are but it certainly wont affect the duration.

SWIM honestly doubts it will make that much of a difference. Alprazolam like most other benzos has a very fast onset. Swim used to have a prescription as well and they would always hit him within 15-30 minutes after dosing.

If SWIy is looking 4 a better "buzz" or what hav u, cut the bar into 4 peices & snort 1 square & titrate dose from there. Insufflation will work better bcuz it increases bioavailability (amount able 2 reach the blood stream), but has its downsides. Snorting pills can damage the nasal cavity because most pills contain fillers (waxes, etc..), & aren't freebase. Most pharmaceutical pills are x_substance HCL (hydroclhoride), meaning it is acidic (i.e bad as hell 4 the nasal cavity). If SWIy chooses 2 snort, make sure the outer coating has been removed.

SWIM is assuming the zanny bars are 2mg. Cutting the bar into 4 peices will increase the absorption rate simularly to chewing the pills & will hit faster most likely.
