Kanna experience. Most of
SWIM's Kanna experiences were very disappoining failing to achieve the same decent highs that were achieved a couple of times before. By trial and error and internet research SWIM is trying to find out what things are important to make a great experience. SWIM's current knowledge is the following:
The main method of ingestion of the natives is chewing the Kanna. SWIM is thinking the chewing is very important to make the digesting fast enough to get a high enough blood concentration, chewing 10-15 minutes should be a good time, after that the Kanna has to be swallowed. It's important to have a completely empty stomach, the reason for that is the same as for chewing, fast digesting to get a high blood concentration. Best time for ingestion therefore is in the morning before breakfast, after swallowing wait 1-2 hours before making breakfast. Last time SWIM tried 0,5g, shortly after swallowing a uncomfortable mild rush followed, fortunately this didn't last long, after 1-2 hours very mild stimulation and
euphoria followed, really not worthwhile, after another 1-2 hours stimulation should fade into a calm meditative euphoria which is where Kanna's fun is at, it was only very weak, next time SWIM will try 1g and report back.
The great about the Kanna high is you feel as calm and clear like you are meditating so the environment should be quite and silent and SWIY should feel relaxed before taking the Kanna, this is why SWIM will try it sunday morning next time.
