Methadone clinic

Swim started a methadone clinic today. They started him out at twenty mgs. Swim went out and got dope right after, simply because, hes used methadone before and has a tolerance to it. How long will it take to get up to 40mgs?

It will depend on the clinic. At SWIM's clinic they had to start everyone at 30 mgs, and the next day you'd see the doctor and depending on how sick you are depended on how much they would raise you. They pumped SWIM up to 60 mgs the next day, and made him wait around for 30 minutes to make sure he didn't OD, then let him go.

So go in tomorrow and tell them you are sick as fuck if you want more "done."

Fortunately they are motivated to get you as high on methadone as possible, that way it takes longer for you to come off, so you will probably get what you want.

Don't know if you've ever been on methadone before, but SWIM also wanted to add something. Before you go get your doses, it's usually a good idea to eat something. A couple times SWIM went there hungry, drank his methadone, and then about 30 minutes later thought he would need to go to the hospital because it felt like a rat was knawing his stomach out. SWIM has also heard a lot of people say that they get bad stomach cramps on methadone.

Yeah swim has used methadone before recreationally, in the abusive way not the constructive way. Which he wishes he hadnt because then he wouldnt have atolerance to it. Kind of fucked himself on it now that hes trying to use it in the right way.

swim is a long term meth user , in swims opinion and for the benefit of swiy when the right dosage is found ,dont rest on swiys laurels ,get the dosage down to as little as possible and switch to suboxone ,buprenorphine.cause meth is a baaad rattle ,and you dont want to be like swim who takes large doses .it has changed swims life for the better but it couldnt have gt much worse so anything was an improvement.just remember ! dont make it a long term thing if swiy can!

I dont plan on going above 40 mgs. Ive never had a prob coming off 40 before. Easier than coming of dope or oc. For me at least ive never had a prob with the done

swim would be happy as hell if 20 ml could hold swim , wish swims clinic was as strict, wouldnt have habit quite as big

Did they test you for your opiate levels and from there decide what dose to give you? They did this at the methadone clinic I went to and started me out at 40mg, which was just enough for me to start getting sick again before my next dose.

Yeah they did but they usually only start people out at 15 at the one that i go to. I was like shaking and shit though so they started me on 20 and they just gave me 25 today. Itll be 30 tomorrow and 40 by weekend.

Tru...just make sure that you stay at whatever dose keeps you good until the next one. SWIM made the mistake of upping his dose more and more to get fucked up, which isn't a good idea if you're trying to quit and trust SWIM when he says those clinics get old very fast!

SWIM tried to abuse it to get fucked up by doubling sometimes. He got high at first and tried to keep doing so by upping his dose and soon realized it could be DEADLY. I almost died.
