where this dog is from there is probabily everything, but in his area of the city it is weed, coke, ecstasy, oxy, mushrooms. the harder you look the more you will find.

In SWIMS area, the most common drug is hash. Weed is also a very common drug but harder to find sometimes. LSD, Cocaine , Ketamine and E are drugs you can get without wasting many time searching.

This is for the mid-south area. SWIM been in several drug circles in several areas across the state, and this is my experience of how easy it is for people I know or SWIM to get something.



Readily available to even those not in the drug world:

1. Marijuana - Everyone and their dog has it, of course.
2. Adderall/Concerta/Ritalin/Vyvanse - Docs hand them out more frequently than anything, Adderall is usually the first drug besides weed that kids try around here. Hell even SWIM has a script to it for his bipolar condition (an off-label use)
3. Xanax/Klonopin - Benzos are given out like candy, especially these two. SWIM knew 4 people at his last job who were prescribed Klonopin, 3 of whom sold it. And SWIM has at least 5 Xanax connections.
4. Hydrocodone - It seems like no one every uses their Vicodin scripts and everyone simply sells them. SWIM prefers more hardcore opiates but will settle for hydro's if the price is good.

Readily available to those in the drug world:

1. Methamphetamine - SWIM lives in the largest per capita meth producing county in the world. SWIM could walk 10 miles out of the city and find 50 meth labs within a 5 mile radius. If SWIM was into meth, he would be in the perfect area.
2. Cocaine - The capital city, about a 15 minute drive from SWIM, is one of the largest coke cities in the world. Just about every drug user that SWIM knows knows someone in the capital city that he or she can get it from, though it's rarely of good quality. SWIM used to be into coke, but he rarely uses it anymore - when he did though, he could get unlimited quantities at any time of day or night.
3. Psilocybin Shrooms - It seems like half the people who sell weed also sell shrooms. They're so available people trade them for much lower values of other drugs regularly.
4. Ecstasy - If you know 20 or so people in the drug world around here, 3 or 4 of them are guaranteed to have ecstasy. Rarely does it have a very high MDMA content, but just regular e is sold by nearly every dealer in the area.
5. Ativan/Valium - A little harder to get than Xanax and Klonopin. SWIM used to have a prescription to Ativan, which he procured without any effort. 90% of benzos around here seem to be Xanax or Klonopin, but these two are not that difficult to find if you try.

Not too hard to find for those in the drug world:

1. Oxycodone - Actually docs around here still prescribe it pretty regularly. The area hasn't evolved as much as the rest of the world when it comes to oxy it seems. Percocet is usually almost as easy as hydrocodone to find, but good OxyContin is usually only found "when someone comes across it," and then it's gone within a few days.
2. Hash - SWIM is not into Marijuana at all, but other SWIM's who do the drug tell SWIM that hash is fairly easy to find if you know the right people. The average pothead will have trouble procuring some though.
3. Methadone - A little harder than OxyContin to find, but SWIM has run across it a few times without even trying to look for it. If SWIM looked for it, he probably knows 2-3 people who could get ahold of small quantities.
4. Morphine - A little harder than Methadone to find, but once again not all that difficult if you're in the drug world and you try to get some. Sometimes it comes around for a really good price, but usually you have to know someone who knows someone who is selling it for pretty high. Not really worth it considering the availability of hydros and Percocets.
5. Crack - SWIM has never even seen crack, but he knows many people who have progressed from other drugs to it. In the capital city, you have to know people, but it's not that hard to find, so say people who have been involved with it.
6. MDMA Powder - Ecstasy is one of the biggest drugs here, so MDMA powder, while being not incredibly easy to find, is usually somewhere around here if you look for it. It usually has a hefty pricetag though.

Hard to find even if you know everyone:

1. LSD - SWIM has run across it twice, legitimate at least nearly pure LSD once. It's SWIM's favorite drug, so he wishes to fuck he was in an area where it was more widely available, but no matter who you know around here it seems like it comes in little spurts from a few people who pass it around every few months, and if you don't get it then you won't have a chance to for a while.
2. PCP - SWIM has heard of friends of friends finding it around here, but SWIM has never tried to get some so he wouldn't know if it is even possible. He knows it's not anywhere near commonly available though.
3. DMT - SWIM has had friends run across it very rarely, but he knows no one that can get ahold of it reliably, nor has he ever heard of any regular users around here.
4. Opium - A rare treat that is come by from time to time by a friend of a friend. It's taking off in popularity around here though and is getting more common as time passes.
5. Other opiates - Fentanyl, Demarol, and the like are not prescribed nearly as much as SWIM would like them to be, and SWIM has never run across anyone with a decent supply.
6. Other benzos - Restoril, Versed, and the like are not prescribed nearly as often as the "big 4" of benzos, but occasionally someone has them. SWIM would really like to try something other than the big 4.

Virtually non-existent:

1. Ketamine - SWIM has never even met anyone who has experimented with it, to his knowledge.
2. Heroin - Believe it or not, even though SWIM lives right next to one of the largest drug cities in the world, he has NEVER heard of anyone being able to find heroin even if they tried. I guess you have to be in the really shitty circles of the capital city to get ahold of it around here.
3. Mescaline - SWIM has heard rare mention of it "coming into town," but no one he has ever known has been able to get ahold of any.
4. GHB - SWIM doesn't even know where he'd start if he wanted to get ahold of some.

In Arlington Heights IL (30 miles NW of Chicago) The Dubs of kind bud flow like water in their seedless glory but thats typically by the gram or 8th and regs rarely gets seen in the form of little tiny bags good for 1 blunt. coke rears its cash guzzling head every now and then depending on who you know and your disposable income qualities ok better than old days not as good as Florida. Heroins always available all day until the afternoon on our beautiful westside. MDMA(or a decent substitute) makes a regular appearance at any rave you go too quality can differ. Pills come and go. But mushrooms are indeed magic and only show up in the right season (end summer)no hash meth pcp has really ever been seen. With acid when it rains it pours and then it stops

I've heard the following. Let's start with the bad: Crack, coke, heroin and meth are easily available.
As is kind bud and shwag, hash but rarely, and for some reason usually in the fall.
MDMA and mushrooms are pretty easy.
LSD is available but requires some time and patience. Ocasionally your various research chemical drugs show up.
Beyond this SWIM can't say (he only knows about the crack and stuff because he sees crackheads and hardline dopers like that all the time in the city, and when he goes to the country he usually sees a meth head or two at a gas station or whatever.)
Availability of drugs is improving in his region, and has been steadily for years, so in your face DEA!

In Swims area weed and cocaine are extremely common, more so than other drugs. Ecstasy is probably the next most common. Then mushrooms, ketamine and ghb are able to be found as long as you know a few people. Meth and heroin are rare but its around. LSD is pretty much unheard of and this is the one drug that swim would really love to try and hasn't. PCP is also unheard of around here.

In Swim's area:

Weed - is weed. It's everywhere.

Shrooms - fairly common if a little seasonal.

LSD - fairly uncommon. You have to get lucky to find a contact and when you do, it's never always for sale.

Any other synthetic hallucinogen - very uncommon. Swim's never came across any, but that really isn't his scene anyway.

coke/crack - Common, but nowhere near weed's level.

Heroin - Once you know the right people, common. Until then, you get some puzzled looks when asking for it.

Prescription Opiates/benzos - Common, but never common enough at fair prices.

Ecstasy - Less common than coke and even rarer if you care about quality.

Barbs - unheard of.

Muscle relaxers - very rare

Meth - Swim wouldn't really know, but Swim can't imagine it'd be all that hard to come by.

ADHD meds - Common when Swim was in school. Not so much now.

Ketamine - Never been able to get a hold of it, but Swim isn't into the rave scene.

GHB - See Ketamine.

Anything else Swim's forgetting - very uncommon

Heroin seems to be hard to get out here, or at least you need to have the correct connections. Swims guy wont deal heroin, but alot of other stuff.

weed - every kid in swims area knows at least one, but usually two reliable connections. Tends to be week in the suburbs, but if one takes a train into the city, pager services deliver some potent bud.
coke - swim knows of three suppliers, ranging from baking soda - average - strong.
Crack - never seen it, never heard anyone talk about it.
Easy to get, sometimes over priced, but never more than an hour away.
mdma/lsd/mushrooms - swim placed these all together because they represent the seasonal wave. Before every major holiday, when kids come back from college, these start showing up. Other than that, rare.
Pharm Opiates - So easy to find. A number of times swim has been approached and offered some form of these. Ranges from percs-hydros-oxy-codeine
Pharm Stimulants - A few solid connections, usually takes a day or two to get substantial quantity, but on the whole, readily available.
misc. pharms - things like xanax or valium and those kinds of things are solicited openly with other pharms.
heroin - swim only has one acquaintance who uses, but there's stuff out there, swim just never really noticed it until recently.
meth - while swim has never encountered this, nor know of anyone who uses it, swim has heard that it's in his area, but he guesses he's never seen it because of social spheres and what not.

Little fishy knows of one source of liquid LSD but his never tried it, not ready to with the current circumstances. Probably not a good idea when your not entirely happy with your life at the time.

Little fishy can't seem to source benzos or (synthetic) opiates at all, definitely the hardest thing around here.

swim would say cannbis and hash, then coke and crack, then opiates in this order methadone ,hydrocodone, oxycodone, fentanyl, hydromorphone, oxymorphone,heroin, tramadol others, then benzos in this order alprazolam, clonazepam, dizapam, lorazepam, temazepa, others/ then there would be Methamphetamine tablets often marketed as mdma, ketamine stolen from local vets often still in orginal packaging, pure dxm extracted and prcessed locally/ then theres adderall and dexedrine very common in every school middle through college in swims area,/ then theres pcp laced weed sold under name space nugget it comes around seasonally in swims area the other thing that comes around seanally is shrooms in swims experience they come in spring and are best then and last until mid july after that vacationers bring bag large amounts of Salvia extracts to swims area which is the resold throughout/ last would be real mdma and lsd swims only finds those around 10 times a year

cannabis any hour of any day, lsd comes and goes weekly, mushrooms are around every month or so, heroin is taboo and never around, cocain is everywhere, XTC is respected but hard to find, speed is in the pocket of every teenager, and meth is EVERY where.

Noone can really be a perfect judge of what is available in their area, just what is available to them via people they know, or street dealers...

SWIM has very little access to street drugs (due to distancing himself), but has met multiple weed and coke dealers.

SWIM can get amphetamine from a friend of an ex-colleague of a friend (in general it seems quite common), and has heard of shrooms being sold, though mostly people go looking for them growing. MDMA is failry commonplace at the right events/in the right places. There are plenty of legal highs, but with something that may have quality issues, there probably will be quality issues (it's mostly the stuff made by larger companies). Due to the number of busts that I hear about, I'd say that heroin can't be that rare.

Cannabis, of course. SWIM also seems to continually stumble upon good sources of crystal MDMA, without even trying. LSD wasn't that common for a good while, but now either it's making a comeback, or SWIM's found the right kinds of circles, and it seems to be fairly abundant. Ketamine is everywhere, as well.
