Overdose - On ecstasy but feeling horrible

Swim slammed meth for two days before hand, then coming down took a red fuck you, and not sure what it is wrong. Swim feels really bad, hard to breathe, Having chest pains, and feeling like they are going to die.

Left arm going numb. swim keeps driftingh in and out of consiousness atm.

Bad combo cuz of meth and e? or whats gooing on?

Red Rock highly recommends that SWIY seek treatment and help immediately. There is no point in jeopardizing one's life by thinking everything is going to be alright and you don't know that for sure. This especially applies for when one is partaking in ecstasy pills as unless SWIY has tested them, they don't know for sure what's in them. There is a thread on here about someone taking an ecstasy pill and it being adulterated with PMA I believe or something similar

What ended up happening:

Swim hallucinated from the handprints on the mirrors across from her bed, then passed out for 14 hours straight. Swim didn't even know what had happened. But ever since that incident, everytime Swim slams meth, she has pain on left side with tightness and kind of a cold tingling in through her arm....

Swim thought she was too young to have slammed too much, has swim already overdid it? Three years of slamming meth on and off isn't long compared to the people she knows.

SWIY has a poor basis for comparison then. Also everyone's body is different and can handle only so much stress. Go get SWIY's heart checked out.

No one is too young to incur adverse ramifications from excess drug use. No one is too young to suffer deleterious or even fatal consequences from drugs. Please do not lose sight of the fact that youth does not grant invincibility.

If SWIY experiences abnormal body sensations when using methamphetamine after this incident, I highly recommend that she cease using it. I entreat her to seek medical examination. While we cannot deliver an accurate diagnosis, and we cannot be certain that these sensations entail risk, we can urge you to remain vigilant. If it is benign, no harm will ensue from invoking medical attention. If these are indications of adverse health consequences of using psychotropics, a cavalier attitude may yield devastating consequences.

I am not a medical professional, and I cannot tell SWIY that she is fine. However, I can advise that she observe extreme caution. There is no way to ascertain that she is not at (potentially serious) health risks.

I do not mean to alarm SWIY; I mean only to tell her that the most judicious course of action appears to be seeking medical attention.

Very true. SWIY should take this advice. Often strange body sensations are due to an abnormal circulation, especially down ones arms. A medical exam would be the best way to figure out whats wrong.

Ok, swim will probably see a doctor. Swim just doesn't know how to explain why she needs her heart checked. Swim has a kid and doesn't want flags raised.

If I were swim I'd say that I was a smoker trying to quit and would like to understand the damage I've already done to my heart, and if it's reversible.

In that case swiy could then show much concern, which is what the doctor will slap swiy with regardless but it'll stop those red flags.

until then tell swiy to lay off. left arm tingles is a no no.

It was my understanding (and no doubt someone will shoot me down for this comment!) that this site is here to support and advise people who have a drug problem.....no matter what their social situation

Your comment has left me feeling that if you are a parent or responsible for a child and you have been unfortunate enough (like everyone else on this site...or someone they know has) to fall into the easy to fall into clutches of addiction then we are not worthy of your help and instead we get blasted!

Are you that naieve to think that everyone who has ended up addicted to drugs are not responsible for a child or a parent like myself!!

SWIM ended up on prescription codeine painkillers 30/500's following a difficult birth of SWIMS daughter....her daughter was also born with 2 very rare genetic syndromes....let me stress to you at this point that SWIM had never taken any type of drug or medication before her birth!! SWIMS 8 a day habit has now escalated to close to double that (CWED of course!) SWIMS need to block out the emotional pain of having a daughter that SWIM couldnt fix was unbearable! So SWIM dealt with it wrongly and let herself get hooked on tablets to try and numb her physical but more her emotional pain...

She wanted to maybe use this Forum to help support her in trying to get off them completely as SWIM wants to be here for her daughter who needs her as long as she possibly can be.....SWIM feels now that she would have people like you shooting her down and therefore have lost all confidence in SWIM opening up to you all here......

I dont think it was your place to judge this parent on his/her parenting skills!! Your job, i would have thought , is to encourage, inform, advice and support!!
