Cannabis Effects

What effects do you SWIYs expect / hope for from a good strain of weed?

SWIM is really just curious what different people use cannabis for, which effects in particular it is that they aim to get.

Re: Effects

Variety in effects is welcome with cannabis. SWIM finds that tolerance builds fairly quickly if someone's smoking the same strain day-in, day-out. Then again, this tolerance is less likely to build up if you just smoke less often. SWIM enjoys strains that enhance the senses: things appear brighter, music sounds crisper, sex is better, food smells and tastes nicer. Then it's a bonus if the strain helps you get a better night's sleep or puts you in a giddy mood.

Re: Cannabis Effects

When swim grows, swim likes to have three strains, a good sativa for the morning, a different one for the afternoon and an indica a dominant to put swim to sleep at night. or smoke all three on one big bifta.

Re: Cannabis Effects

Swim wants an appetite, music appreciation, being social/talkative, euphoria/exceptionally good mood, relaxation, body high, humor, easily entertained, and similar.

Swim smokes for fun, as a social activity with friends, as a bonding activity/icebreaker, for insomnia, to relax/cope with anxiety/stress, to help with nausea, pain management, etc.

Re: Cannabis Effects

SWIM just had some particularly potent bud last weekend. it seemed to have a purple tint to it, and was absolutely covered in trichomes. after about 2 or 3 good hits, SWIM was totally blown away. but overall, SWIM tries not to smoke it too often, since potheads develop a tolerance and have to smoke more to get the same effect. SWIM tries not to smoke more than once or twice a week, maybe occasionally a couple days in a row. The feeling SWIM gets from marijuana is just a high feeling when he only smokes a little - different perception of everything, very active imagination, hungry, excited, and everything - surroundings, music - seems more aesthetically pleasing. When SWIM smokes a lot, he gets stoned, and just wants to sink into the couch, not having the drive or the capability of doing anything but sitting there, weighed down, staring off into space with his bloodshot eyes if used in the right mindset, marijuana can be a very introspective and mind-expanding experience, in SWIM's opinion. Sometimes SWIM smokes it just to get stoned and have fun, sometimes to sit and try to apply my altered perception of reality to encourage spiritual growth.

Re: Cannabis Effects

Until recently swim was never a big fan. Smoked to come down off other stuff. Swim always enjoys food and sex after smoking but by far not the best chemical in his collection as usually made swim's head spin.

However. Recently swim tried some weed from of some eastern europeans (polish). This weed had lots fine whitish powderish stuff all over it. This weed was v good. Swim got jaw clenching, massive euphoria, felt v stimulated as well as relaxed; also swim could drink with it which is unusual for him. Food was still good and sex was great (over and over). Swim was thinking they may have added something (possibly a speed like substance), but it was the a good price so he isn't sure.

Has any one else had weed like this lately?

Swim must get some more but his man seems to have gone underground. Always the way

Re: Cannabis Effects

SWIM uses marijauna with his friend to ampliphy already fun expiriences. His favorite is to do it while skiing. At first he thought it would be dangerous but has found it to greatly increase his skills; he has never fallen on it. The effect he and his friend like most is the lack of reality, nothing behind you is there and everything in front of you is so fake its funny thats why he laughs. SWIMs favorite self quote while on it came from while he was on a lift and his friend was singing white rabbit: "Nothing is real but white rabbit and my eyes man!" Another cool effect is the visual distortions, when looking out at the top of the hill SWIM saw everything look like a postcard in that it was 2D, people faces start to look really weird too. He was at a campout with his friends and said To his friend we'll call E "E you look like an elf with th pointy ears and everything!" SWIM has tried watching TV or movies while on it but they are far to confusing and moving way to fast, While on it SWIM aprechiates everything so much more and could look at any one thing for what seems like an hour. SWIM highly recomends it to everyone.

Swim might be right.

It really was like nothing swim has smoked before.

However, swim is still unsure as it was such a good price. First rule of drug economics, cuts are never more valuable than the product.

Swim is determined now. Swim knows where the man works and will try to track him down.

If swim is lucky swim will report back.

Re: Cannabis Effects

Swim smokes to sleep, watch movies for the second time, go for walks (usually leads to sleep), to enhance sex, to become more social, to have a creative flow (mostly oils and rita inks), to eat, etc.

Swim aims for either a floaty effect ( kind of like a watered down LSD ) or a totally out of her head - brilliant visuals - just absolutely ridiculous head spin. Depends who she buys from.
