THC and Canabidiol Experiment

A new entry has been added to File Archive

Description:
Clip showing part of an experiment to compare the effects of intravenous THC and cannabidiol combined, with intravenous THC on its own. The mix of both gives the presenter a pleasant giggly high while THC on its own causes her to become desolate and paranoid. Please note that no cannabis is 100% THC like she had here, even the high THC content skunk is only at 10-20% THC, and will contain many other psychoactive chemicals to balance out the effects.

When 100% THC is used the results are nearly always negative, as in this study. In other words, THC seems to be psychotomimetic, whereas cannabidiol (CBD) has antipsychotic effects. You can now buy test kits to test the ratio of THC to CBD. Some studies have shown that cannabis smokers who had higher levels of cannabidiol in hair samples had the lowest levels of psychosis-like experiences.
