Re: tablets instead of capusles?

Did SWIY's old medication contain only codeine? If they did, it sounds like your doctor would rather SWIY get liver damage than get addicted. If not, I can't think of any reason why they would help prevent addiction.

SWIM thinks they have the tablets you describe (the KAP and AKE are separated by the indentation down the middle of the tablet?) and tells me they have no problem getting high as a bitch off them. They're taking a break at the moment though because, ironically, they think they're starting to get a bit addicted.

Re: tablets instead of capusles?

Look up the pill online; if the formulation contains anything other than codeine (like APAP or such) make sure to CWE if using the codeine in a recreational manner to avoid liver damage. CWE is cold water extraction, a simple and rather efficient method of removing APAP and other impurities from opioid pharmaceutical products.

Yeah, sometimes doctors prefer to kill their patients with Acetaminophen than to just let them get high...they're seriously retarded.

Re: Tablets instead of capusles?

guys, this board seriously over exagerates the negative effects of APAP. if it killed so many people and shit why would it be allowed?

i asked a doctor once and they told me that habitual dosing of 5000 mgs a day for 2 weeks had not been proven to cause liver damage, much less death APAp is maybe equally hemotoxic to consuming alcohol on a regular basis.

so yeah, ain't no one trying to kill you here. he probably just stepped down SWIY's dose or put him on an ER when he was on IR. or maybe he switched codeine salts to a slower acting one or something

Well better safe than sorry but I do have to agree with you to a certain extent, I learned in this forum that paracetamol was extremely toxic in above-recommended doses but it turns out that it just is not so.I mean, swim is extremely careful when dealing with paracetamol but at the same time he has read many, many reports of people taking more than 5-8 grams a day for several years and at the end be left with nothing but some temporary damage which resolved itself eventually.

Re: Tablets instead of capusles?

My Dalek and I agree with Robo on this one. And Daleks doctor said its difficult to die from ACAP, But I wouldnt rule it out. My Dalek still takes every precaution he can.

It just makes CWE users feel better knowing they can get away with a little more if they screw up (y) =D
