Health Advice? MDMA with pain killers?

Hi I have a friend SWIM (who is definitely not me), who plans their first MDMA (not pills) experience on Friday night.

However she has an unspecified medical condition (unspecified in the sense that it is just general pain in the bladder area) for which she will be undergoing a non invasive (non-surgical) investigatory procedure on the 5th of December.

Other than this unspecified pain (which she has lived with for a long time), she is in every other sense really quite fit and healthy.

However, she does take medication for the pain. In total she takes 30mg of dihydracodine x2 every 4 hours.

Is this likely to have any kind of adverse effect on her MDMA experience?

It is possible that she could cut down/cut out her last dose of dihydracodine before embarking on her MDMA experience and replace this with cannabis, which she reports as also having good pain killing qualities - and personally I don't really envisage any major issues, especially as I will insist that she follows basic health advice about hydration and staying cool etc. I also have quite a bit of experience with this drug myself, so I will be there and (there will be at least one other responsible person there who will not be indulging in anything) to look after her and make sure everything is OK.

I know it might sound a drag to think about these things, but she is a good friend and I do want to make sure she has as safe and as pleasant an experience as possible.

So if anyone can offer any sensible advice I would be very grateful.
